We arrived in nizza monferrato from villa nova d'asti and came across this restaurant via the enoteca shop in the centre. Really good shop By the way!!!We turned up at 7.30 and were far from disappointed. The food was lovely ,service was excellent and the wine list fantastic and was not expensive . we had brema 2009 which was superb and would no doubt have cost in excess of £70 back in the ukYou have to visit this unassuming but great restaurant with a really friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier

Given the great location and lovely setting, the below average quality of all delivered dishes was truly disappointing. Even the potatoes appeared to be previously frozen. The service was inattentive, which was rather bizarre as the restaurant was hardly busy. Would definitely not recommend. This region of Italy is known for its wonderful slow food cuisine. La Loggia seems to practice slow microwaving.

The restaurant and our 'family kitchen doing an imaginative attention to detail while respecting the tradition and so do fish fresh fish owners are professional people in the trade, the chef (owner) has a thirty-year experience skilled and qualified, our
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the house wine and the venue. It looked like some of the tables were regulars, which is always a good sign. We had delicious raw fassone meat, great ravioli and roast, and an absolutely outstanding pork fillet with mustard. That's why it's such a shame that when time for dessert arrived and we were so excited, we had to wait about half an hour just to be able to order it. I believe they usually have a second person serving at the tables, and the only gentleman who was on duty that night (I'm guessing the owner) was running around the whole time, and doing a great job until some tables got up to pay and interrupted the flow. I could see other patrons also had to wait quite a while for their drinks or something else. When the dessert got there it was also delicious, however the wait had spoiled the magic a bit. Still highly recommended for great local dishes.grazie molte e scusatemi per l'attesa sui dolci spero di rivedervi presto saluti giorgio

Quite challenging to find this place, but at the end extremely please for the location, the tranquility within the city center and the friendliness of the dedicated and passionate restaurant owners. This restaurant offer a range of local fresh products and a fantastic wine list with specialties from the close Piedmont region. We recommend to order Risotto or Pasta with fresh truffles, a real delicacy.

Already at the entrance you can feel the passion for food and wine. Beautiful entrance, extraordinary ceilings and a warm welcome is part of an evening full of surprises. Food is excellent, accompanied wines are delicious and the service is excellent. A place to remember.

This is the Italy Americans hope to find when they arrive. Charming, seemlingly only local diners, a View to Die For. La Bella Vita! I was entranced by the view and thinking there would be no way the food could compete, I would be satisfied with view alone. I was wrong. My husband and I started with the local selection of meats. For the main I had the tenderest steak I've yet to have in Italy (they always seem to tough here) and hubby had a wild boar pasta with ragu as well as our friend we were with. We let the owner select the wines as we're not the most familiar the wines of the region. All excellent choices! We stayed for coffees (excellent by-the-way) not bitter at all and desserts (coffee flan). Just a wonderful day! Just as an FYI I have celiac (no gluten) and enjoyed this wonderful place immensely.
