Acqui Terme is kind of a stuffy uptight upscale town but there is an oasis of friendly cheapness at 25 Via Roma (thereâs another location a few blocks away), thanks to Yehia from Egypt and his Albanian colleague. The pita is handmade before your eyes, the falafel itself good to very good and the smallish selection of toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, âsaladâ) are fresh and good. Did I mention it was 3 â¬? Thank you guys.

Locale ristrutturato alla perfezione. Bellissimo da vedere con personale sorridente e gentile. Pizza buona e digeribile. Cucina fatta bene con porzioni abbondanti. Buona scelta di birre alla spina e in bottiglia. Prezzi assolutamente corretti. Bella scoperta!

Situated on the first floor next to restaurant Il Moncalvo. A real pizzaria so mainly pizza's which were very tasteful. Only fresh ingredients.

It is not particularly a fancy place and the service is not as efficient as we can expect but they definitely prepare and serve the best pizza in the city (to eat in or to go). So pizzeria highly recommended by my Italian friends who live in Acqui and by foreigners like me!

We went to Martini Pizza specifically for pizza and were not disappointed. The crust was crisp and thin; the ingredients high quality. Reasonable wine list and very fair prices. The Insalate di Mare is tasty, but it has an anchovy dressing so beware if you aren't an anchovy lover. Excellent service and very nice people, and the sweetest little pug, Polpetta! (She is not misnamed.) The restaurant was remodeled 4 years ago and is very handsome.

Restaurant does not look fancy from the outside. On the inside it is just a regular, decent Italian restaurant with nice photos on the wall. And...they serve superb food. We had a very good pizza and fresh gnocchi. House wine was good. Prices are still reasonable. Staff are friendly and hard working and speak a bit English. Menu is in Italian, English and German. Don't be put off by the street the restaurant is in. Very recommendable.

You would never stumble across this restaurant as it is buried in the hills above Acqui, but it's worth tracking it down. Family run restaurant, with passion. Pizza's are so light and fresh you can nearly eat two! There's a challenge :-)
