Were there recently for lunch and dinner while staying at hotel Spinerola. Very nice and cosy restaurant with excellent food and wine. The restaurant was rather pricey compared with other restaurants and for dinner we couldn't eat outside due to lots of gnats. Better experience overall...Great entries... carpaccio with Gorgonzola gorgeous as usual...Really good battuta di carne with black truffle and Raschera cheese...The waiter has been outstanding... suggesting wine and explaining the dishes!Wow!Well done!

Location incantevole, un castello semiabbandonato ma curato dove serve. Ristorante allâinterno molto bello ed elegante, curato nei dettagli con ampie vetrate sulla collina. Cucina a menù fisso, abbondante e ricercata. Ottimo il servizio. Davvero eccellenti i loro salumi, prodotti direttamente con lâutilizzo delle carni del proprio allevamento di maiali neri, che vivono in libertà nel bosco. Tutto davvero apprezzabile.

We have bought wine from Federico for many years now, and Easter Sunday was our first visit to their restaurant, front of house run by his brother and his super talented wife who is the chef.We had the most wonderful dishes, the base is Piemontese but given such a twist and so elegantly presented.Everything was absolutely delicious, and all served in stylish surrounding with the most spectacular views.Plus super friendly staff!So wonderful and so very thankful to have this on our doorstep, and can't wait to come back!!

I was visiting the town to know the place that my grand grandma left at the end of the XIX Century for emigrate to Argentina, and we took our lunch at the Vecchio Ritrovo, we were warmly received by the personnel, food was good and unexpensive. The place was comfortable and clean. A Restaurant that I totally recommend.

A very pleasant place to have a coffee or a meal, set in a wide piazza in the small village of Camino,in the Monferrato hills, overlooking the Po valley.The lunch menu offered was a set one of 12 euro (including wine)and when we saw locals eating there, always a good sign, we decided to stay.As it was a warm May day, we ate outside under an awning and enjoyed local salame, a roast and delicious "vino biologico", local red produced by the proprietor's father. It was so good we boughta bottle to take home.Service was friendly and we were made very welcome, even though we left eating until rather late.Definitely a place to go back to.

Crescentino is a small town by the river Po in Italy, located between Torino and Milan. A very small Piedmont town where you might not expect a sophisticated place to eat. Well, if this is your expectation then the Archigusto is quite a surprise. Located just across the street from the square, the restaurant has a light yet interesting decoration and an ambiance that gets you in the mood for a good meal. Not having many tables to attend, the service is efficient and quite personalized.The food is very good, from the amuse-bouches (I had a delicious prosciutto) to the dessert (something with hazelnuts and dark chocolate). The specialties range from regional plates (such as the risottos - this is an area where rice is a major crop) to creative delicacies such as the asparragus mousse I had the pleasure to get.A great dining experience.

In questo schietto e caldo locale non ci puoi arrivare per caso, devi essere accompagnato da Clienti che prima di te hanno già vissuto questa bella esperienza. Eâquanto capitato a noi ieri sera, quando finalmente ci siamo venuti assieme a due Amici che in più occasioni ce ne avevano parlato con entusiasmo. Siamo in un paesino sulle dolci colline della Valle Cerrina, che si raggiunge con una stradina laterale dove non è raro incontrare animali selvatici (quindi piano con la macchina...!).Poche case, molte senza abitanti, purtroppo e, nel centro del paese il bar âdâna votaâ con annesso una piccola sala ristorante. Ambiente semplice ma accogliente, con un soffitto a cassettoni oggetto di un un buon recupero, un camino e gradevole musica jazz in sottofondo. Per la bella stagione câè un terrazzino delizioso dove cenare con vista sul verde dei boschi. La sensazione è quella di entrare quasi in una semplice ma gradevole casa di campagna, accolti e coccolati da una gentile signora (mamma dello chef) che ti parla con un gradevolissimo accento piemontese e con frasi in dialetto.Non câè un menù, al mattino lo chef sceglie le materie prime e poi improvvisa, seguendo il suo estro e la sua passione, con un rispetto della stagionalità e degli abbinamenti nei sapori che non fanno affatto rimpiangere altri locali ben più blasonati e famosi.Bollicine di benvenuto con entree.Ieri sera abbiamo apprezzato tra i vari piatti un eccellente cotechino in crosta molto magro, un delizioso capunet con lâuva, e degli agnolotti piemontesi talmente schietti da fare il tris...! Ma anche il secondo e il dolce erano notevoli.E poi arriva Alessandro, lo chef a chiedere come eâandata e si siede a tavola a chiacchierare...E ti accorgi che le âbelle personeâ, quelle che fanno il loro lavoro con passione e riescono a toccarti nel profondo con spontaneità , esistono ancora. Lui è il vero valore aggiunto del locale, dopo qualche chiacchiera ti sembra di conoscerlo da sempre e quando te ne vai pensi già a quando tornerai a trovarlo per assaggiare le sue creazioni e fare due parole con lui.Per ritrovare quella âsincera passione piemonteseâ che è sempre più rara.

Generalmente il massimo non lo do mai. Per ovvi motivi naturalmente. Questa volta però è meritato. Dalla location all'accoglienza, dal servizio all'impiattamento... per finire ai piatti. Tutto perfetto. à presente sia la carta che un menù degustazione e le sue porzioni sono tali da farti arrivare alla fine del viaggio senza affanni e/o sensazione di pienezza esagerata. Conto commisurato all'esperienza. Consiglio assolutamente. Bravo chef Gori!
