Restaurant does not look fancy from the outside. On the inside it is just a regular, decent Italian restaurant with nice photos on the wall. And...they serve superb food. We had a very good pizza and fresh gnocchi. House wine was good. Prices are still reasonable. Staff are friendly and hard working and speak a bit English. Menu is in Italian, English and German. Don't be put off by the street the restaurant is in. Very recommendable.

Osteria vineria vasta scelta di vini e carni formaggi e prodotti del nostro territorio cucina tipica piemontese e pesce fresco
This is a top restaurant. We were advised by the local winery shop and what a great advice this was. The starter, the main course, the dessert, the wine the coffee, the grappa... all was excellent. Absolute must do when in town. The only negative point ( not of their doing of course) was that we were all alone in the restaurant ( 4 of us). It was the end of the season and in the middle of the week.

Characteristic restaurant in the historic center of the spa town, typical Piedmontese cuisine for three generations. Hall of walls with visible wine cellar master room for those who love peace in a homey and romantic. Possibility to have lunch or dinner o
This restaurant has changed location in Acqui Terme to a place with more ambience, which is really positive. It is the former place where I Caffi had their restaurant. Also the old ladies were not in the restaurant this evening. I miss them, but we had a very nice and motivated male waiter, who was eager and happy to tell us all about the food and wine. The chef is the younger generation of the family and he serves well prepared Piemontese dishes from mostly locally grown produce. We will be back for sure.

Without any pretension the food served was just delicious. All products were locals. Very well cooked. The antipasti, pasta, gnocci, tagliata and the dolce were amazing with lot of taste. The owner Daniele and his team were very sympathetic. He took time to explain us the stories of the wine of his wine list and as well to give us some address for wine producers. Really nice family moment! We warmly recommend this restaurant.

You would never stumble across this restaurant as it is buried in the hills above Acqui, but it's worth tracking it down. Family run restaurant, with passion. Pizza's are so light and fresh you can nearly eat two! There's a challenge :-)

The restaurant Villa Scati offers regional cuisine of Piedmont. In winter, dinner is served in the cellars, while in the summer season from June to September, dinner is served in the court of honor, or in bad weather in the Costanza hall. The dinners, by
We (2 adults, 2 children) had dinner here twice in early July 2015. Food is served outside. This way you can enjoy the beautiful scenery (Villa Scati itself). Service was smooth and very attentive. We enjoyed the fine Piemontese dining experience. The wine list is impressive. Overall price/Quality Vila Scati is cheap, or in other words, great food at a low price.

Quite challenging to find this place, but at the end extremely please for the location, the tranquility within the city center and the friendliness of the dedicated and passionate restaurant owners. This restaurant offer a range of local fresh products and a fantastic wine list with specialties from the close Piedmont region. We recommend to order Risotto or Pasta with fresh truffles, a real delicacy.

We arrived in nizza monferrato from villa nova d'asti and came across this restaurant via the enoteca shop in the centre. Really good shop By the way!!!We turned up at 7.30 and were far from disappointed. The food was lovely ,service was excellent and the wine list fantastic and was not expensive . we had brema 2009 which was superb and would no doubt have cost in excess of £70 back in the ukYou have to visit this unassuming but great restaurant with a really friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier
