Started with house-made chorizo saisage-delicious, had clams in a parsley sauce-fabulous, then for the entree, a "chuleta"-"small" steak with roasted red peppers. The steak was easily for 3 people and was cooked to perfection. Even the fat was tasty on the steak.desserts-most of which were home-made-were all delicious.Excellent selection of white and red wines-locally produced and within the Spanish borders. Can't wait to return.

We had an amazing dinner at Agroturismo Guzurtegi! We had fish and meat and both were really good. The ingredients are local, fresh and very well prepared. The fish was incredible! Also desserts were just to die for! The owner was very kind, he also gave us some local liquor to try and a piece of cheese as a gift! I hope to come back soon!

This restaurant is set in a truly stunning location looking out over the hills south of Bilbao, and in a really beautiful old building with lots of exposed stone and big old wooden beams. The food we had was traditional Spanish, done in a haute cuisine way, and quite exquisite. However, do not expect anything in a hurry! I believe it is intentional with their approach that the food is delivered slowly so you can appreciate every bit. This may be a lovely way of spending an evening. In our case, we asked for an early booking as we had a 1-y-o toddler with us (who was provided a high chair and enjoyed sharing our food!), the earliest they could offer was 8:00pm. We ordered four starters to share between eight of us; these were bought out one at a time with maybe 20 minutes between each. By the time we had had our pre-supper drinks, looked at the menu, and chosen and been served our starters it was 10:00 and we had not even chosen our main courses yet! At this stage we had to leave, as it was getting too late for the toddler.Location is remote, so you will need a car to get here (and a designated driver!). However, the food and the location are very special, and it is well worth the effort, if you have the time.
