In the historic center of Santiago de Compostela, a few meters from the museum of contemporary art you will find the restaurant Garum Bistro, a casual and cozy gastronomic outing with the air of an old tavern that stands out for its fair decoration, witho
This should be a first amazing hotel (Altair) and very nearby restaurant (Garum). This clicked on all cylinders. Two of us had 4 tapas dishes (top quality and good quantity) and a dessert and we were amazed with all courses. The team was so personable and great to interact with. If back in this part of Spain, this is a mandatory visit!!!!Thanks for your comments. We hope to see you soon again!

ArteSana is the perfect place to go for a nice dinner or a glass of Albariño and tapas. The decor is modern, the waitstaff are both friendly and professional, and the chocolate croquettes are on point. Arte Sana quickly became my favorite place to grab late night drinks at during my 5 months in Santiago, because the staff are so much fun and the potatoes and aioli are the best in Santiago. Whether you're in town visiting and looking for a classy place to taste some great local food, or whether you've lived in Santiago forever and are looking for a new favorite restaurant, I'd recommend paying a visit!

Smallish menu but enough to cater for most tastes. Portions were plentiful and tapas looked appetising. Seems to be popular with young locals. Good value. Lovely garden, with a fantastic view of the cathedral, but sadly because of the weather we had to eat inside which was comfortable.
