Saturday, September 27th 2014, together with 7 friends, I had a great dinner in Restaurante Paprica.We had a very friendly welcome. These people know how to take care of their guests in a positive way. A 5 course menu proposed and assembled between the âwaiter/ownerâ and us was excellent.Wonderful combinations of fish and meat prepared by a young team in the kitchen.Also the white wine El Piraguas and red wine Velâ Uveyra, both from Galicia, were well chosen.Far from home for us, but if you are in the neighbourhood, donât miss Paprica.

This place is tucked away from the center of the pedestrian area, but is well worth the detour.Probably as close to fine dining as you will get in Lugo.We were offered a small delicious vegetable soup as an appetizer, followed by scallops. Excellent. I then had slices of cochinillo. Delicious. My friends had the filet steak with pan seared foie gras and a pan fried fresh cod both excellent.Great 2007 rioja. Impeccable service, nice atmosphere.

We had a lovely lunch after walking another stage of the Camino here. Very good food - me and hubby get the Galician pancakes (grilled veggies for me -delicicious, seafood for my other half), our daughter had really good fries (patatas deluxe -highly recommended) and we all shared salad. Our waiter Andre was very helpful and looked after us well.Great place to have a meal!Nuestro equipo siempre intenta ser lo más amable y tener a nuestros clientes satisfechos, y veo que es asÃ!
