We had just one night in Cassis & wanted somewhere interesting to eat. We prefer to find smaller restaurants off the tourist track, they are often better value & better food than the harbourside offerings. We weren't disappointed, we were greeted by the gregarious patron who went through the menu in detail. We opted for the house special bouillabaisse "Tian", and very good it was too. Perfectly cooked fish in a flavoursome hearty broth. Recommended

We asked our hotel for a place to eat boullabaisse and they recommended this authentic french restaurant on the pier a few minutes walk from the hotel. Unfortunately as we suspected you need to order boullabaisse earlier to get the correct fish, otherwise it is most likely frozen. Had 2 families and entree and mains with ambitions for dessert. Several of us had the frites du jour ehich was prawns scallops calamari and divine and much larger serves than expected. The fish we shared was a bream done very well, some of the children had a wonderful vegetarian lasagne, but whatever was ordered was good. Although very full some of us managed to squeeze in dessert including an excellent sorbet. Waiter/manager? was very helpful and patient repeating the menu in English several times. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Came here for lunch and sat outside which offered wonderful views right on the water. Both sea bass dishes (whole fish with vegetables and the filet with risotto) were excellent. The truffle egg dish was interesting and flavorful. Loved the complimentary shooter starter and the mousse dessert shooter they gave at the end, too! The waiter was pretty patient in explaining the menu to us in English. Overall, a good place for seafood!
