Walking into chez Clara , you will feel like being greeted by a long lost family members.Clara and Antonella mother daughter owner welcomed us personally and made us feel like you belong there. Warm greeting by the Maitre 'd/Owner & prompt seating at an outside table. We had asked to be on the quay, but arrived late, so our fault. Still a lovely table! Excellent service, bread, 2015 Grand Reynard Chablis highly recommended. Only weak link were the oysters - not much flavor & a bit flabby. Husband had the lobster & it was surrounded by cloves of garlic & absolutely delicious! My Sole Almandine was excellent - perfectly cooked and a very large serving I was unable to finish. We don't do dessert, but our charming table mates did and proclaimed it excellent. Small cream puffs served with the coffee. Just a beautiful evening - many thanks!

good point -One of the premium location directly facing the dock-waiters are truly attentive - the food however is just correct but without that little flair ( like a special dressing , sauce layout etc.. ) that makes the unforgettable difference - to my opinion this place seems to be a little overpriced - e.g 65 ⬠for 2 x "natural" Lobster half that you could easily prepare yourself - really you could expect more for the price - so a little bit disappointed

After visiting Paloma beach many times in the past we booked the restaurant for my motherâs 60th birthday celebrations, the staff were fabulous from the moment we booked, from recommending menu suggestions to arranging birthday cakes. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent which all in turn made it a very enjoyable day. We were a party of 25 all different age ranges and every single member of our party enjoyed themselves, thank you once again!

Not particularly cheap but very good food. The starter of baked camembert wrapped in bacon was really tasty and the foie gras had an excellent flavour. Our dourade main course was beautifully cooked and tender. Sitting outside on the harbour front on a beautiful late summer evening eating good food - whatâs not to enjoy?!

Reasons to come here: gorgeous harbour side setting, super friendly staff & great value good food. We ate the 3 course set price lunch; including delicious sea bass with homemade garlicky mayonnaise & near faultless seafood risotto. With a carafe of rose & coffees, it seemed a bargain for this part of the coast. Judging by the steady stream of customers well into the afternoon, seems lots of others agree.

My husband and I walked by this little restaurant several times while on holiday in Beaulieu. On our final day we popped over to have lunch. The restaurant had only three/four groups dining there. The woman who greeted us looked us up and down then told us she had no table. She Made no effort to accommodate us whatsoever. Very rude. Obviously we cannot comment on food but going on the initial blunt and unmannerly welcome we received, we certainly would not go back!!
