Love the service, food and atmosphere. Disappointed by how they treat tourists. We chose the fixed price 3 course 45 Euro meal but shocked when receiving the bill they charged us the a la carte prices. When we queried this they said you should have explained this fully at the time of ordering!! We had to pay an extra 24 Euros for two of us- left us with a bad taste.Dear Smilecreator, We are so sorry to read that. Be sure that we have the same treatment for locals and tourists ! About this little misstake, the meal does'nt include the same dishe than "A la carte". That why it's not the same price. SOrry for the misstake during the explaination and the bad taste because of that ... Your faithfully, La Gaudinade

Petit restaurant cosy niché au coeur du village classé de valbonne. Une cuisine raffinée cuisinée avec des produits frais. Changement de la carte chaque mois. Menu retour du marché chaque jour. Les chiens ne sont pas acceptés.
If you're a foodie, look no further. This place is a hidden gem for those-in-the-know. Food is very high quality and beautifully presented. Quality/price ratio is high on their 45 Euro prixe fixe (lobster salad was huge with lots of lobster. The lamb prepared two ways was a stunner.)The chef's wife is very knowledgable and offers a warm, caring welcome. Be sure to reserve as it's tiny. In good weather ask for one of the coveted spots outside. Wine list is small but expertly crafted.

Dining in the bustling village square is a treat unto itself. Kids playing, people strolling add up to a delightfully warm, calm and authentic setting for a leisurey meal. The food is beautifully prepared and often has surprisingly wonderful touches -- like the penne served with the maigret de canard: perfectly al dent pasta with a rich cheese sauce accented by tiny cubes of apple and mango. An unlikely combination and a delicious one. Many have written about the Grand Marnier soufflé and I canonly add that it's a phenomenal dessert. Prices are reasonable, service is swift, atentive and helpful. All in all a lovely dining experience.

This review is written after a fourth visit. The food has been consistently good with friendly service and a very reasonable price. It's a little off the beaten track which probably explains the price, but if you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit for something a little different.

Basically this is a "Poissonnerie" or fish market with a chef attached. The accommodation is pretty basic but the fish and shellfish are of the freshest and the cuisine is of a high standard. You can compose your own shellfish platter from a substantial menu, or have one of the many standard compositions. Alternatively generous portions of five or six types of fish are available, and absolutely none are fish farmed. On certain days a home-made Bouaillabaisse is available to eat on the premises or take-away. A small selection of deserts are available, also coffee, but this place is like a brasserie and no-one will encourage you to have a three course meal. Good fish these days are a luxury and the prices are not particularly low, but as though to compensate the price of wine at this establishment is really reasonable. Try this unusual location - you will not be disappointed.

All the flavors of the Mediterranean based on fresh local products Respect of French know-how for 10 years And a wine bar in a unique setting #sortiramouans
To be fair, we arrived at the end of their lunch hour and they were obliging. We did however have to make some fast decisions on our meal. Perhaps not the best, but not unpleasant. From the locals, the food is apparently very good and we will be back for a dinner. If in the area, worth a try

Christine and Thierry welcome you to feast your taste buds with authentic fine dining , gourmet , home made with fresh, local products green surroundings in the shade of olive trees, garden for children , private parking
New owners - just taken over in the last week - but the quality remains the same - superb French cuisine with an emphasis on local produce, slightly off the beaten track but well worth the effort of finding it. The garden and play facilities mean that adults can enjoy a great meal and the kids won't get bored. Very friendly proprioters who speak English. Highly recommended if you are staying in or near Cannes.

Homemade food, fresh French fries, pie/cake, coffee, aperitif. A terrace is available and also an inner room (recently renovated). The quality at the best price.
We were looking for a nice small restaurant in a nice small French village and we found what we were looking for. It is a very small place (5-6 tables), family owned it seems, with great "homey" design, on a very nice street in the centre of the village. The owners were willing to explain us the dishes (they don't speak English and our French is poor), bringing us stuff from.the kitchen to make us understand what they were speaking about.Food - having read the references here, I expected some really special fresh food. The food was good - nothing to say here; however, seems like the dishes (or some ingredients) were frozen and warmed up before serving. The home wine was alright.Price is great, really reasonable (or even cheap, considering we are in this part of France) - 37 euro for two (2 main dishes, 1 salad, 1/2 home wine, water, bread).Overall, quite a good experience.merci de votre avis mais pour ce qui est des plats pour les lasagnes nous somme oblige de les rechauffer a la demande merci encore

Amazing restaurant set in the charming Old Town of Mouans-Sartoux. Set in a cozy dining room with the open kitchen. The owner presented us with lavender champagne to start. Delightful fruity flavor. The aperitif was followed by several amazing courses. My lamb was perfectly cooked. The chocolate dessert was also amazing. After our dessert we were presented with a delicious buttery Madeline. Overall a fanatastic dining experience!
