Fabulous romantic dinner at La Fete. I had the carpaccio - just incredible as you can see from the photo. Followed by lavender honey ice cream - lovely stuff. No overpowering flowery flavor. Just a lovely balance with a lingering honey taste. Just a gorgeous place! Congratulations to the Swedish chef - lots of nice Swedish touches around the place. Tack tack!

This is on one of the main streets of the market in Vaison (Tuesdays). The market menu has 2/3 variations per course and never fails to please. Indeed, we have even attempted to replicate some of the dishes - smoked salmon mouse with thyme sorbet - for instance.

French cuisine. Local produce, lamb, pork, trout, fruit and vegetables. Fun on the plate. A simple kitchen, minimum food processing . It is with pleasure that we receive . Thank you for your confidence shown to the team. See you soon...
NOTE: As of April, NEW owners are a husband and wife team. We arrived for dinner after a botched reservation at another highly reviewed restaurant in Vaison. One word OUTSTANDING!Lovely ambiance, attentive service, and extraordinary, delicious food presented beautifully. We ate there three nights and each meal was different, delicious, and special. No detail was left to chance. A feast for the eyes and palate; fresh, creative, and artistic. This team has eye for creating a memorable dining experience, and comes with extraordinary experience - Four Seasons, Relais Chateaux and other 5 star establishments. Seriously, we travel extensively and without doubt, one of the best restaurants we have been to, and certainly, the loveliest of hosts! Make your reservation! We were fortunate to discover them early and it wonât be long until this place is booked solid. The outdoor terraces over the river will open soon.

Booked here last minute and very pleased as they had a special truffle menu.We started with something similar to a loose scrambled egg with truffle. Followed by small ravioli with a cheese filling and truffle. Main course was veal, again with truffle. This wasn't just shavings of truffle either...each course came a decent amount of sliced truffle. We each had a different final course of cheese and Grand Marnier creme brulee. The creme brulee having a seriously heavy dose of alcohol in it. A good value meal though at 42 euros per head.Service was fine, the only issue I had is that in the corner of the dining room they had a desk set up with a laptop where they were managing bookings incl the phone ringing on and off throughout the meal.

Like most in town, in an unpretentious building we found an absolutely perfect meal. Both the fresh fish and spring lamb we're prepared and presented beautifully. The entree fish salad and dessert featured local fresh produce. The complimentary extras included olives and polenta chips, cream and nuts. The local house vin rouge was smooth and flavorful.

This is a small local restaurant in the medieval quarter. Not very easy to find but well worth the effort. Lovely food, limited seating, booking ahead recommended for their âhome style menuâ. Just perfect for a family or friends lunch.Dinner not served. A must be there for a visit to Vaison. There are plenty of restaurants catering for the tourist visitor but La Caillette is a gem and inexpensive.hithanks for compliments..... happy to saw you in the restaurant thierry

In the heights of the medieval city of Vaison la Romaine, under the vaults of an old stable of the XII century and in an intimate setting, Chef Philippe Zemour offers a delicate and tasty cuisine where local products are subtly highlighted. The Bistro du
very pleasant ambience in a renovated stone dwelling inside the old fortress city of Vaison. Food on the night we dined very slow in arriving, perhaps due to the presence of large tourist groups. Noise level was very high. Overall, a bit disappointing given the price and ambitiousness of the menu. Perhaps a second visit is needed....

Located at the foot of the old walled city of Vaison la Romaine, we offer a wide variety of Tea and coffee. We serve breakfast and lunch on our terrace and in the rare case of rain, inside. On Tuesday afternoons we have live music performances for tea-tim
The salads and tarts are superb and the deserts to die for. There is coffee roasted in the shop and a huge variety of teas--various blacks, greens, herbals, and more. The owners are delightful, friendly, and multi-lingual. A great place to get started exploring Vaison, or a place for a nice break.

Hidden gem on the Cotes du Rhone Wine Route. Bar/lounge, Casual Dining and Fine Dining. Spacious terrace in the middle of a lush garden Guest house with a pool, comfortable huts, children area.
This was recommended by friends in the area. The place is beautiful. We dined outside. The service was excellent and the salad of mushrooms was exceptional! The presentations are lovely, especially the desserts. There was an off-putting smell the day we were there - fertilizer or a sewage issue perhaps? But everything else was wonderful!
