As someone who has excellent taste & is very critical about Restaurants.I cannot believe the reviews that criticise the staff or the food in this restaurant!! Again we had a fabulous meal and the service was absolutely excellent. The staff were friendly & helpful and they helped to make the evening. The food was as before of high quality & cooked with Love.

Le restaurant vous accueille à lâannée depuis 1991 en vous proposant uniquement des produits frais élaborés et cuisinés sur place.
we have been here many times and as ever the service was first class, very welcoming and not at all pushy. The menu initially looks a little limited and different but we all had fantastic meals, really top quality cooking and clean plates all round. They accommodated our 12 year old son by cooking him a plate of pasta as he didn't like the menu. The deserts were fabulous. I had the cafe gourmand which was superb. Great wine as well, all in all another great meal here with very inventive and different cuisine which never disappoints.

Restaurant familial, avec une cuisine simple à base de produits frais. Spécialité poisson frais. Tous nos desserts sont maison Une vue mer panoramique sur le Golfe de Fréjus restaurant ouvert de février à novembre Bienvenue chez nous
Very disappointing lunch experience indeed. It ruined our morning out by frustrating us beyond measure. Slow, slow service. We waited over 20 mins for anyone to take our order in this cafe style family-run restaurant. In the end I had to call a staff member over and insist they took our order! It's the same old French problem with so many of this type of beach cafe - they succeed in business because the location is so good, but the service is poor and the staff always favour their favourite customers and take their orders first and serve their meals first. When the meal eventually came it tasted very good and that's why I'm not giving this place a one star rating. But lots of customers were waiting a long time for service and food. The barman did a good job and we were served drinks reasonably quickly - but the waitresses bringing drinks weren't allowed to take food orders and this caused big delays and much frustration. We even had real problems paying the bill (having failed to catch the eye of anyone to take an order for coffee for at least 15 to 20 mins). It was impossible to get them to come to our table with a little card machine, so after another 15 minute wait we walked over to the poor overworked barman and he obligingly did the honours for us. No chance we ever return there.

We visited le Polynesia for my Birthday while on holiday. We booked a table for 12 (6 adults & 6 children) the previous day, and was seated in the front on the high tables. The staff ( lady) was great and explain the menu to us on English( many thanks), the service was great, the food was well presented and tasted fabulous! The kids had the children's menu and were very happy. All our party enjoyed the food and we had no complaints. This is a great restaurant, with great food in a great location. We'll definetely visit again when back in Saint Aygulf! Shame about the lack of taxis, we had a 3km walk back to our campsite!!

We had visited this restaurant two years go when last in St Aygulf. It was good then, but now it has changed hands and is just excellent. All the food was superb and the attention to detail certainly makes this a fine dining experience. Everything we had was faultless - and my husband is food philistine and oh s hard to please, but even he could find no fault with anything and we just cant wait to return.Thank you very much for your words! They go directly to ours hearts. We are very happy that our style enjoy you and will be very happy to receive you again in our restaurant Le Dit Vin.Thank you again and see you soon!Fabrice Borrel

The restaurant is next to a big road so it can be noisy. The burger were good but messy to eat and the entrecôte were just ok. Service was fine and price reasonable for the area.

Most Resturant's on the seafront 7.30pm-9.30pm you will be queuing to get into. We stopped here after 9.30pm and still busy but no queue and was pleasantly surprised. The service was efficient and friendly the staff spoke some English, but our school girl/boy french was required to our shame. Menu the same as all the others, french with pizzas and burgers. Very easy to navigate. We all had the steak, really nice, all cooked to our liking with lovely sauce. Price was more than fair. Children menu was okay, nuggets or steak. (Same as everywhere else) I would definitely return.
