Chef Fabien Rouvier and Le Relais de la Pinède were made for each other for a long time. He has a very special relationship with this restaurant and nostalgic memories for this sharing atmosphere that ruled there while he was a youngster : good old family
We really enjoyed our three course dinner at this lovely little restaurant. The three course dinner was set at â¬36. The food was presented beautifully. The courses were well portioned, and very tasty. My favorite was my first dish with three takes on raddish, never had anything like it before. We also had some fantastic local red wine, as suggested by the very helpful waitress. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Good afternoon Florine, we thank you very much for your positive comment. We are pleased you had a nice experience in our restaurant and hope you will have the chance to visit us again. Best regards

Come and enjoy a terrace with the most beautiful view at the entrance of the old village of Mougins. We welcome you in an ornate frame from May, 7/7days.Venez profiter d'une terrasse avec une des plus belle vue a l'entree du vieux village de Mougins.Nous v
An OK place to stop for drinks, but at lunchtime when there were only maybe 10 people (including the three of us) the service was dire. Wine by the glass not reasonable either. Better off going to the bar further along that is part of Le Mediterranee ... better service and more reasonably priced wine. With so few people it shouldn't be necessary to chase staff for a second glass of wine or wave them down (as did the people at a table nearby). At least the view is great.

Good lunch choice in the old town of Mougins. The back room has VERY LOW CEILING BEAMS so watch your head! That said, it was comfortable during a really hot day.Servers were very engaging personable and efficient. The soupe de poisson, while adequate did not have the depth of favor found elsewhere . The tuna tartare was outstanding and served, perhaps not classic pairing, with perfect and delicious frites .Pleasant and worthwhile

At the heart of the mediaeval village of Mougins, the Restaurant L'Amandier has become a legendary place of pilgrimage for the worldâs gourmet diners. Now completely refurbished, L'Amandier has reopened under the leadership of Denis Fétisson, but with tot
We went to this restaurant hoping for great food and wonderful views. We got good, but not really great food and a sort of half view ( as much of the view of the hills around mougins is obscured by trees and strange telegraph type poles just by the restaurant. ) The restaurant was very busy with lots of large groups of people and the food seemed all a bit formulaic and it was all just a bit rushed, service was perfunctory and seemed to be all about just getting the numbers of people through the place.

Love the service, food and atmosphere. Disappointed by how they treat tourists. We chose the fixed price 3 course 45 Euro meal but shocked when receiving the bill they charged us the a la carte prices. When we queried this they said you should have explained this fully at the time of ordering!! We had to pay an extra 24 Euros for two of us- left us with a bad taste.Dear Smilecreator, We are so sorry to read that. Be sure that we have the same treatment for locals and tourists ! About this little misstake, the meal does'nt include the same dishe than "A la carte". That why it's not the same price. SOrry for the misstake during the explaination and the bad taste because of that ... Your faithfully, La Gaudinade

We had dinner with friends at "Clos Saint-Basile". This restaurant positions itself as rather upscale, semi-gastronomic. Nothing to complain about the service and the dining room, however the food was quite disappointing and the price was rather high. I am not planning to go back.Dear jpm57,We are very sorry to hear that the food was disappointing. We hope that you will give our restaurant a second chance.Thank you and best regards.

After reading the positive recommendation on TripAdvisor we decided to spend our dinner in this restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disaponted what we got for 32⬠dinner menu. The salad with the goat cheese was OK although the peace of the cheese was too small and dry on the burned bread.Lamb cutlets with herb crust - the crust wasn't crunchy at all and and the 2 cutlets were rather fat. Desert - in vanilla panna cotta you expect to see real "vannila" which wasn't this case.My recomendation, for this money you will get much much better quality in other restaurants.Merci.

MAITRE RESTAURATEUR. Traditional French Restaurant, Quiet and friendly place with terrasse. Very complete menu, french cuisine home made. We are not in the old city. Welcome.
This place is rated high..I was expected a great experience in terms of food and service...instead it was really average compared to the price paid for the meal! Moreover wine was terrible...How is it possible to be so well rated? Barely I give 3 stars out of 5! NOT WORTH IT!We are so sorry for these bad experience. A lot of people love this place, home made and fresh product, not too expensive for the quality, also the service, professional and friendly. Also we have a very nice wine menu low price, and you can test all the wine before drinking. So can you accept all our excuses for that. ???

When I have visitors stay I take them here. Precisely to have a French culinary experience. Naturally, for a reasonable price. Imperative to go at mid-day for the Menu otherwise prices are unaffordable for many. The service, personnelle not to mention the food (nearest you will get to a *Michelin) is superb. After, donât forget to walk round Mougins old town which is very pretty also great views of surrounding area. You can park your car no charge just before (on the left) you arrive to the village or drive into the village and there is parking provided just bellow.
