Worst stay in Mexico
Reviewed By oliverkP3342QRThere is no wifi in your room. There is only ONE power outlet and that is in the bathroom. If you order breakfast expect to wait 45min at least. At least the beds are comfortable but that is the absolut only positive thing about it. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!

Excellent location, right across from the beach
Reviewed By denisf255Had a room with a side balcony that overlooked the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. No problems with check in which was looked after by Maria. There are no elevators in this hotel which is 3 stories high. There is a fridge and microwave in the room, but bring your own plates and cutlery!. TV does not have any english channels. You need about 5 minutes before Hot water flows from the taps. Pillows are very hard (Hint-Bring your own pillows) see photos of the inside of a pillow! The location is very good, loud music from the beach on weekends, but overall, we enjoyed out stay

Flamingos Inn is a bed and breakfast in the charming fishing village of Chuburná Puerto, just half an hour outside Mérida, the capital of the Yucatan. Mérida has an international airport, which is around 45 mins from the property. Pick up service from Mérida can be arranged, though a car is highly recommended. For our visitors coming from Cancún, there are buses almost every hour, the buses are modern and comfortable, and the ride takes about four hours. Of course, rental cars are also readily available at both airports. At Flamingos Inn, each of our rooms includes a private terrace with sea view, private bathroom, kitchenette, A/C, WI-FI and a luxury king-sized bed. Enjoy our nice pool and the beautiful beach . While here, you can choose to enjoy the silence and tranquility of the Emerald Coast, or ask us for details for you to tour some of the Yucatan's amazing sights, from flamingos in their natural habitat to the incredible Mayan historical and cultural pyramids and ruins!
Wonderful little hotel on the beach
Reviewed By ElgringoconritmoWe recently stayed at Flamingos Inn for my birthday with my wife and had such a great experience that we came back again with our daughter this past weekend. The owners are exceptionally friendly and hospitable and they make sure to put all of the perfect touches on everything (amazing breakfast, nice mattresses, great water pressure, very clean rooms, etc.), which is very hard to find in hotels in the area. We will definitely be back!

Abrazarse Life offers four rooms for rent either individually or the whole house. We the owners live on site and are here to serve you. Ask for what you need and we will do our best to provide it. When available we will pick you up at the airport or bus depot. November 2016 the Cozy Comida Cafe will open from 9am to 2pm Wednesday through Sunday, serving full American style breakfast and unique lunch options not found in other restaurants. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Saboreando Comida India is open for dinner at 5:30pm. Our menu changes weekly and includes dishes from many different areas of India. We are here to serve you and ensure you have a wonderful stay in the Yucatan.
Bright spacious rooms
Reviewed By Linda MI just spent 5 weeks here. Loved the bright rooms, very comfortable beds. Great balcony to relax on and watch the ocean. Excellent breakfasts, either Mexican or North American. She will cater to your food needs and likes. Close to the beach and easy walk downtown. People in the area are friendly and you always feel safe day or night.

Good but not great
Reviewed By Nick SI'll start with the good; the staff were friendly although English was lacking. A chance to brush up on my Spanish I guess! Pool area was nice enough. Aircon was fine. However: The wifi rarely worked. The hot water rarely worked. There's no safety deposit at reception and the safe in our room wasn't attached to the wall!

Íbamos festejando los XV años de mi hija y pues queríamos escaparnos a un hotel en medio de la nada y tranquilidad total, pero también queríamos actividades al aire libre y pues este lugar rebasó por mucho mis expectativas! La atención de la señora Bety, que wooow, todos la amamos a ella y a todos los del hotel, personas súper lindas y muy muy atentas, pero en serio la señora Bety se lleva el premio jajaja Primero que nada me salvo porque como somos veganas, lleve todo para preparar mi pastel y olvide algunas cosas, pero ella me salvó! A mi hermano le preparó huevito con chaya recién cortada! A mi cuñada le dio tamalitos recién preparados! La alberca riquísima, para refrescarnos, las habitaciones de súper lujo, son tipo ecológicas y me encantaron, el estilo es Justo lo que me encanta, tipo ecológico pero fancy jajajaja También nos rentaron cuatrimotos, para ir a montarlas a una vereda en medio de la selva y bueno, esa actividad fue increíble, mi hija manejo las cuatrimotos junto con sus amigas y acabaron llenas de lodo pero súper felices. Luego hicimos una mini fogata con bombones en la noche, en la palapa de la alberca y contamos historias de terror, que increíble experiencia, nos hubiera gustado quedarnos más días pero teníamos que regresar a la realidad godin jajajaja Bueno, pues les súper recomiendo el hotel Amor, tienen que ir, les prometo que se les olvida TODO, regresarán súper relajados y encantados. ????

Reviewed By Barry AI walked into this hotel which you should never do because a hotel will see you as vulnerable. Room 2 overlooked pool. Hotel Yaxactun is an L shaped bldg. Other inner rooms could see me so i left the curtains closed. Water pressure was weak. A/C good. Couldn’t work TV. Empty bottles under my bed. Wifi good. Oxxo is 1 block away. Beach is 2 blocks away. My daily rate was Overpriced.

Reviewed By Leonardo VDecidimos conocer Yucatán llegando a puerto progreso. Nos hospedamos en Mayab Suites. Somos una familia de 2 adultos 2 niños 1 bebe 1 año. Nos encantó en lugar. Muy confortable, limpio, cómodo y bien ubicado. Tiene la palaya a media cuadra. Un oxxo en la siguiente esquina. Tiene una acogedora terraza con hamacas. Un lugar muy limpio, cuenta con todo lo necesario y tiene cocina.Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Decent value
Reviewed By YukonjojoClean, no cockroaches,loud but very affordable and decent. No complaints if your looking for simple and tidy it's a good value. We stayed 3 nights after being chased out of more expensive ones by cockroaches.

Absolutely horrible!

When Christy ( she said that was her name) was on the phone with the owners she put mask on so they can hear her voice through the mask. I was seated next to her puzzled! They gave us two towels for two days to wash face, hands, bodies, feet and pool. Not sure this even meets Mexican health standards. When asked to speak to the owner she told us she is the one, Lety…Later she changed her mind. Also they wouldn’t give us seniors discount. Apparently they do have it but…not for us ( gringos). It was very noisy with small children going nuts at the pool above all glass doors falling of the frame. Lights on whole night long. Avoid it’s overpriced anyways. Maybe for one night but we stayed two and couldn’t wait to go home.
