Went here for some food late,
Was speedy service and had a fair few decent veggie options (which can be hard to come by)
And they had a menu in English which was a god send!
Will be going back as it seems to be a reliable stop for some late food, nothing too special but a good easy eat.
Was more expensive than most places around but did offer more of a atmosphere and an easy go for tourists.

Indonesian food, coffee shop, mocktail, wedding ballroom
Taste of the foods not special, more tasty you bought at the street except here (Nasi goreng kambing). The steak is hard to eat and the taste is not good.
The staff to fast serve the desert before we finish to eat the main course. About the price is not worth with the taste.

For three generations this simple place has been serbing one dish: Chicken Soto (chicken soup) in style unique to Probolinggo. Simply the best. Open from 7 am until noon (or when they ran out). An authentic delicacy and a must try if you're in town.

nothing special about this 'famous' meatball restaurant in Probolinggo, East Java except the fact that this place has some pictures of local celebrities eat in that place. For the price, you can find plenty of better meatball restaurants, usually even in cheaper place

Their food is AMAZING! We ordered three dishes, because we thought they'd be rather small, but were surprised by the big portion sizes. The veggies tasted super fresh and we were really happy with our meal. Some of the best food in Indonesia. Prices were surprisingly low too, 20-30k.

I went there just few days ago, the place excellent. I recommend visit it in afternoon/evening, night or morning not in middays if you don't want to burned skin!! The ticket is reasonable for it's facilities. For kids and family there are little amusement water park, boat for rent, little shark, beach volley court. There are also playground with perosotan, mandi bola, etc. Toilette was clean & for moslem there was Musholla.
In the night, mangroves glow with plenty of lamp. It's beautiful & romantic.
We book the BJSS for meeting place in middays. The place was clean, the AC work well, nice lunch (but expensive), sound system was good.
After meeting, its evening, so we walk through long walkways to go home, there are a lot of teenagers take selfie photos. The view was beautiful, although its cloudy.

I went to BeeJay Bakau Resort last September as part of my trip to Jember. The place is kind of hiding but it is obvious once you enter through the gate for the port.
All board walk in the bakau forest. Walk on the board walk under the mangrove forest is beatiful. Board walk is wheelchair accessible.
The trip end up the restaurant.
My group just ordered drinks and snacks since it was too early for lunch.
There are few cafes in the area. Also bungalows that stand on the seawater. It looks like a nice bungalows equipped with air conditioner to keep you cool from the heat.
Unfortunately I don't have chance to see inside the bungalows.

Went there a few times since it's considered the best restaurant in local area. Found that grilled chicken was quite rubbery, my humble guess it was pre-cooked before being grilled. Grilled fish was slightly better. Fried fish was OK. Vegetables were slightly soggy (overcooked). Spicy seafood soup was excellent, full of flavor. Drinks were usually very sweet, little flavor enhanced with lots of syrup. Teh tarik was bland - not recommended at all. Very scenic though, facing man-made fishing pond - you can rent fishing pole for USD 3 per hour. There were gazebos beside the pond. Good service by the staff.
