Relaxing and beautiful place by the beach, with smooth music and industrial interior design. Cuisine is based on modern Croatian recipes with American influence using local ingredients. Food is combined with great selection of craft Croatian beer, wine an
We were a group of 15 and we had reserved a table for lunch at 2 PM which was recommended by the restaurant. Despite that we had to wait for over one hour to get the food and then they missed the order for one of our kids and he had to wait for 1 1/2 hour to get his potato wedges. No willingness to compensate for bad service unfortunately. We have been there once before and that time was much better though. Thank you very much for your review of our service, please receive our sincere apologies about the service that we're all aware of. The problem was diagnosed and solved the very same day. Unfortunately, you were the one that experienced bad service, but your critique was very helpful. Still, you're welcome here at any time!Kindly, Old Sailor's House

Nice service, very good and fresh products. As a starter I had an octopus salad with rucola, tomatos, procsiutto, cheese and sour and salty anchovies. Tasty....The main course was a spit of calamari, prawns, scampi and white fish; sorry but forgot the name of it.Tasty as well...

Nagyon finomak voltak az ételek, a pincérek rendkÃvül segÃtÅkészek és kedvesek. Gyerekekkel érkezÅknek szuper kis játszótérrel és etetÅszékekkel. The food was delicious, waiters were very helpfull and nice. I highly recommend it to families with children because of its little playground and they have good baby feeding chairs.

We're successfully leading our small family guest house since 1996, with the primary goal to make our guests' holidays a pleasant and unforgetable expericence. Everyone is welcome in Sidro. Proof of that are many families, diving groups, sports clubs, bik
A beautiful place, lovely terrace, a little away from the beach. Selce beach is packed with places to eat, but to crowdy and noisy, so we were looking for a less restless place and Sidro was the answer. It's a stylish very neat building with a terrace in the shade on the first floor. It was a lovely summer evening and the hostess received us warmly. She was very receptive for our wishes and tried to answer to her best, sometimes with the help of her hushband who is the chef. First choice: wine. We like a dry, fresh but full bodied white wine. Sometimes Malvasia is fine, but we wanted to try something different, so we asked for advise. We tried a Zlahtina wine (2013), but we found it to much oxidated. Later we compared with the Malvasia house-wine which we found much better (and cost only half). The menu is extensive, very wide choice of almost everything, and available in several languages (including Dutch). We started with sharing a great Greek Salad, very well prepared with tasty feta-cheese. To continue we choose the sea bream filet , cooked to perfection, and a tuna steak "house style" (with a kind of green pepper sauce). Tuna steak is critical: it should be rose inside (and I asked specifically for that), but unfortunately it was slightly overcooked. Although the taste was good, when rose, tuna is more juicy and tender. Good coffees with a schnaps (slivovitz and a strawberry liqueur) concludred our meal. totaal cost 400 Kuna, from which 130 for the bottle of wine. So: prices are attractive. We spend a great evening on perfectly maintained and lovely terrace. This is what holiday is about.

I knew the food was going to be good, but this was quite possibly the tastiest fish platter I've had, at least when it comes to mediterranean cuisine. First we had a typical starter consisting of prosciutto, cheese, olives, anchovies and octopus salad. The octopus salad was a little under seasoned for my taste, but with the anchovies and some pepper it was perfect. Then came the fish platter.I'm drooling a little bit just thinking about it.Squid (fried and grilled), grilled scampi, small sea bass fillets, sauteed swiss chard with potatoes, grilled bell peppers and grilled carrots.Heaven.It really was. The vegetables were juicy and full of flavour from the goodies that were on top, the fish was good, scampi were delicious and the squid was cooked to perfection.I didn't even have dessert because I didn't want to spoil the aftertaste. If you're in the mood for fish, definitely try Riva.P.S. and the service was great, too.

We read about this place and decided to come. We did have to wait, but we planned on it, since the restaurant is always full. The staff did their best to get us seated as soon as possible, which they managed in just a few minutes. We had a steak and lasagna. The steak was okay, not the best, but good, except it tasted too much like olive oil. Lasagna was great, but it was missing the meat sauce, there was just not enough of it. Most of the lasagna was cheese, bechamel sauce and pasta. It was good despite that, I liked it. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, they made sure everything is running smoothly, they were everywhere, really active and helpful. Prices are okay, could be a bit cheaper, but not extreme. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I would definitely go back there.

What a find! Recommended to us by our hotel situated between Selce & Crikvenica and what a recommendation! We went the first night & loved it; delicious fresh fish, friendly staff, brilliant service, lovely setting. We wanted to try other places other nights and so we did, in both Selce & Crikvenica but found ourselves coming back here every other night and nowhere else compared! We love our food and alongside a friendly hotel & lots of sunbathing, this restaurant was our Croatian holiday highlight! Thank you!

Amazing location, beautiful food, great service but lacking in some areas, very impressive selection of olive oils. Only downside was very poor drink selection, no cocktails and no kids menu. Thanks for your positive review and thanks for your suggestions! We will definitely take the arguments into consideration and try to improve! Kindest regards.
