We were recommended this place by a local, who said it had the best pizza in town. So expectations were high. The restaurant is tiny (5-6 tables), and much more a 'beer place' than a restaurant it appears. We were 3 kids & 4 adults, ordered quickly and told them to - if possible - serve the kids first. We waited 50' - asked twice if they could please speed up the kids' meals (Schnitzel & fries). We were told that they'd only 2 people in the kitchen cooking, so no option to speed things up.Pizzas finally arrived - they were good, average, but nothing extraordinary. If you come for beers, bring ample time with you, and are not half-starved and/or not a pedantic Pizza enthusiast, it's worth trying. Prizes are reasonable.

We loved the authentic feel to this restaurant. You are experiencing the service from the locals perspective and that enhances the enjoyment overall. They had a great choice on offer and we were all impressed with this restaurant overall from its decor inside and outside and obviously the relaxed vibe generated from the locals that dine here. Our friends live nearby so that helped when the lady serving had little English but her service was efficient and friendly and that wasn't a problem for us as it added to the experience.I must say the value here for what we got between the 4 of us was fantastic. Great portions, great value and a great atmosphere and a great way to spend an evening with friends.I must say the value

Koliba KamzÃk offers pleasant seating in a stylish and cozy restaurant with the traditional Slovak spirit. The restaurant is well known for its warmth and hospitality. Our chefs´ team prepares for you the tasty specialties and traditional home-made meals,
The atmosphere in this Koliba is cosy, the terrace is very nice. They have a lot of seating outside and inside and the staff is kind although there was a lot of guests. We have been waiting for 10 minutes but the waiters respected the queue. They speak English well. There is a wide variety of traditional Slovak food but looks like a modern approach to cuisine. Simply delicious!I recommend this restaurant! (However, we haven't appreciated the loud music...)

Nice restaurant with the typical menu you find nearly everywhere in the area but with an excellent exception: the slow-roasted pork (cooked in an outdoor oven) that makes this restaurant stand from the crowd. Prices are average for the area and generally fair. Service is not especially friendly.

We went for the traditional Slovak atmosphere with the wooden building and rustic interior. The atmosphere is there, most definitely and I actually think the service was not too bad. Yes, it could be faster but the waitress knew the money and was reasonably responsive so I do not have much to detract in that. The food was good, but bear in mind that traditional Slovak food is heavy on meat and quite fatty. My grill platter was a little on the heavy side but the sauerkraut and potatoes was a good balance to this. The other dish we had was similar but prepared in the oven with foil and also had tomatoes added - all of which made it a little more moist and therefore more delicious. On the basis of the few points, I am giving the rating above.

Unfortunately, quite disappointing, had high expectations...The single-room is quite small and not so comfortable. The shower is the smallest I have ever seen in any hotel around the world !The bed was comfortable, but over-all, the room price was overcharged, compare with other nicer rooms around the same town. There was no soap in the shower, glad I usually have with me some, from home. The restaurant was even a bigger disappointment !Ordered a tuna and avocado Carpaccio : It had no avocado in there at all !! no balance at all. Ordered a salad : again, no balance at all, quite tasteless, huge amount of greens, almost no dressing.Ordered baby-leaf with Atlantic salt : what came was Atlantic salt with baby-leaf...The main dish was fine, 8 out of 10

Beer house with 16 kinds of craft beer a day. Excellent and quick kitchen. Large outdoor terrace with a capacity of 300 people. Inside a very nice and stylish space for 200 visitors. This place is a paradise for craft beer lovers
I was here when the place was packed. None the less I got quick service and the food tasted great. The place is quite nice :)

Family run bistro/restaurant with modern seasonal cuisine just under the slovakian High Tatras mountain.
We came couple of times. The menu is really short and you can also choose from daily offer. They always reflect ongoing season therefore, I assume the food is always fresh.I tried once their ceasar's salad. It's simple yet, restaurants here tend to add some unorthodox stuff into it. In this particular case it was orthodox as it should always be.Once or twice I came for some burgers and I was very contented. They know their game working with meat. Once they offered me fish & chips, which is my favourite bite still, until now it is quite unusual to even have it on the menu in our region. Nonethless, it was amazing. Most recently I went for chicken breasts with tagliatelle and creamy champignon sauce. Again, I praise the cook, because he knows what's he doing. I don't even remember if I have ever eaten chicken breasts so juicy.Last but not least, the service was nice and the coffee was good. The ambience of the bistro lies in its purity. There is not much except a bar and couple of tables with chairs. The house is kinda small, so by lunch time it could be noisy.I am happy to say I wish to come for lunch or dinner more often, because there is hardly a place with that high food quality set far and near.

We have eaten pork cheek stew and rooster paprikash. Both were perfect. And at the end a Kavej - a brownie with Coffee cream and mandarin jelly. Wow. Staff is very friendly and pro. We are happy that we have found them.
