South of Hua Hin, just before reaching the KaoTao turn off, on the right hand side, there is Zu`s Bar. Clearly visible from the main road. The last shop of the shop area on the right. An open and covered area outside and inside sitting as well so you are well covered during the Monsoon season. The service is friendly and the also serve cocktails and food. Life music is played in the evening and your friendly Chang Lady goes around hoping you will feed on her Tap Beer, deliciously cold whilst enjoying the Thai and simple foreign menu. Going out of town after a great game of tennis, Zu´s Bar is the answer. Away from town rush, relaxing and enjoying time out!Prices are very reasonable and no where near the prices in Hua Hin. A pool table copes with your challenges! Summa Sumarum...a lot of fun, friendly and not far away from Hua Hin. Try it out. Pretty Zu will attend to you as you arrive. Ample parking space. I am a regular there with my Tennis buddies!

We stumbled across this place and were taken in warm heartedly by Jiab, the lady who owns the place. Before live music (daily at 8pm), there's (YouTube) music on and an assortment of western and Thai "locals". Drinks are good, service is fantastic. If you are looking for a brothel, this is not your place. Just a relaxed atmosphere, amateur music, good drinks and good food.

This small beach club is really nice for relaxing on the beach, enjoying a good meal or a pre-dinner drink. On Friday's they have live music and pizza's at half price! The staff and management are really friendly and the day (or week) beach/dining packages are very attractive (although not obligatory).

Windy bar is run by Chai. A very polite, welcoming gentleman and ably assisted by his wife Ruk Ruk who also works at Oceanview Massage next door. This is not a lively place, it is definitely chill mode but you get to know Chai and Lak, their friends, other guests, family and all sorts. It is a small bar, overlooking the beach with quite fantastic views of the rising moon.Good value, service is attentive but careful rather than rapid, just order your drinks a few minutes before you finish the last one and it is perfect. Good value and no dodginess with the spirits.Put it like this - we were there every night of our two week holiday.

We visited Smile a number of times during our stay at the Aleenta and the owner, Bert, and his staff made us feel extremely welcome. I would highly recommend Bert's fantastic Belgian stew! The drinks were well priced and Bert helped us out with recommendations during our stay and even arranged a very trustworthy and reasonably priced driver for us on our last day to take us to Hua Hin for the next leg of our trip.
