As residents of Hua Hin, we take our constant search for good restaurants very seriously. So often, wherever in the world, one finds oneself eating overpriced, poorly cooked food that could just as easily have been prepared much better at home. This IS NOT the case here!SMILE was opened recently by a French/Thai couple and became an instant hit for people from all over the world and Europe in particular. The Thai wife is the chef and her creative talent is only matched by her cooking excellence. Wonderful starters - Asian Samosas Thai style, wonderful puff pastry wrapped chicken and vegetable, mains including barbecued prawns on skewers, pork filet mignon, various chicken creations and freshly landed fish of the day. All mains come with the option of rice, potato or spaghetti and fresh lightly cooked vegetables.Frank, the husband of the team, is a Frenchman with extensive restaurant expertise. He is a warm, friendly man and an excellent host. Above all else, all their fabulous food is at prices that are incredibly reasonable. His wine list is constantly improving in selection, quality and value. Our favourite eating place.Book to avoid disappointment!

This small beach club is really nice for relaxing on the beach, enjoying a good meal or a pre-dinner drink. On Friday's they have live music and pizza's at half price! The staff and management are really friendly and the day (or week) beach/dining packages are very attractive (although not obligatory).

IreneWe have stayed in Khao Thao, Hua Hin and we are delighted to have found IRENE as a delightful food source in this area. This family run establishment has both bar and eating facilities. The menu is a rich mixture between European food and Thai food. The European food is served with great tasty variety and the Thai food is top quality just as the menu on a whole. Delicious cakes and - or the highest quality ice-cream is a wonderful treat to end your meal with â£We find the service very kind and Irene and Bernhardt and the younger generation so sweet and personable, which makes your visit a true pleasure and a great reason to return again and again.Thanks for great memories, Worth a visit, closed on Tuesdays

The old Beach House Bistro had great food, moderate prices and a friendly atmosphere.The new location offers a fantastic vista of the beach and the same quality food to go with it! Our Hosts Karl and Michelle really made us feel welcome too. It's friendly place for a drink and a bite to eat.Lots of specials on their facebook Page.

Stopped in for a few beers and some food. The menu is quite small with a handful of western and Thai dishes and first impressions where for to prepare for an average meal. How wrong I was. The Thai green curry with prawns was wonderful as was my wife's vegetable fried rice. Big portions and good prices also.The staff are great and the place has a nice chilled out vibe. Oh, and the beer was cold!Thaks Steve for your review , we are still settling in here , and things are changing for the better Wish you pleasant stay in Pak nam SAI & STAFF

One of my favorite spots! Love the blue cheese salad & pizzas! Great spot to meet local expats or to kick back and enjoy a cold beer. Thursday night BBQ night is the best! If you love a good Sunday roast wroth all the trimmings they've got that covered too. Cheers!

The Dalah buffet breakfast served indoors or in the large covered outdoor area had an amazing choice of hot and cold food. In the evenings the restaurant has an extensive and seasonal menu serving excellent quality dishes from the local produce available. The rustic high-ceilinged pavilion surrounded by the large lily ponds makes this the perfect place to enjoy exquisite food.Dear Dinky T,Thank you for your feedback. Being around in Thailand for many years its fantastic to experience again a new Thai dish not eaten before. Besides the Menu Khon Ken has daily specialities. Do not forget to study this. This time we had a new dish (at least for us) based on chunks of sea bass (no bones at all) prepared on a thai way. The fish chunks are a bit crunchy and extremely tasty in combination with the sauce and the various vegetables.I got a thai description but (see photo) but unfortunately made no picture of the dish while to busy to enjoy.We use this restaurant fairly often and its always ok with a lot of choices but this dish is one to remember.There is also a fairly good choice of wine.Prices are very moderate.Highly recommendable Thank you very much. Looking forward to served you again soon.^^

Visited here while staying at aleenta fancied a change from Thai food one evening had the best lasagne and garlic bread and topped off with cheesecake great value for money and quick efficient service . I visited this restaurant with my family and my best friends and their family who live in ThailandSadly I am not the best on IT but I have finally worked out how to leave a recommendation on here because it is fantastic One of the best experiences of our lifeâs. Our friends have an autistic child and James could not do enough for him, which made all our experience relaxed and happy. This also meant the rest of the kids were happy and in-turn the adults, and we just absorbed everything that James could offer.The food, wow. Home grown, fresh, large portions, with the added value of James providing extra insight as to the ingredients and menu. WOWShould you be lucky enough to fall upon this place then please do not turn it down, you will not regret it James, thank you memories made!!!CheersPaul
