Reviews on Asian food in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. A favorite getaway for Bangkok residents, Hua Hin is a pretty beachside town. Family friendly and relaxed, it lacks the all-night partying and seedier aspects that make other nearby beach resorts a haven for unsavory characters. Once a small fishing village, it was transformed into a royal resort, and it’s these close links with Thai royalty that ensure Hua Hin won’t become overdeveloped or lose its small-town vibe.

Went here with my family while we were staying close by in Hua Hin.Great restaurant, seems to be run by the one lady who takes your order and then goes and cooks the food! Very talented!Food is really fresh and well priced, plus there was a decent size wine pour!Worth going to if you are in Hua Hin.

I return here annually and itâs just getting better every time, I always message to ask what days they are cooking Massaman curry as itâs the best Iâve ever eaten. The staff are fantastic and manage this very busy cafe with ease. Great pad Thai with giant size shrimp also a winner!

Tucked away in north west region of Hua Hin, you will find Passport Cafe, a family-owned bakery and restaurant that opened in February, 2015. Offering daily freshly baked goods, and a wide selection of Thai and Western dishes in a comfortable setting, it
We've been to Passport Cafe a few times now and we have enjoyed our experience each time. We've had their signature dish pork chops which are huge and delicious, their very tasty wienerschnitzel , pad thai, lamb moo and can't wait to try some of their many other choices. We will definitely be back often. The restaurant is a bit remote from the busy section of town which for us is great.

Because the famous seafood I had booked a buffet dinner for my partner birthday(12 Oct) in Sai Thong, but unfortable that I cannot find My favourite crab it in the dinner. after comment with the manager she feedback was the crab was finish earlier. With no alternative, I only can jealous the next table lady to finish the last crab.Today, 3 days passed, in my last night in hotel Anantara, the manager found me in the lounge bar and she still remember that the crab is my favourite dishes. So in the conversation she know that me and my foy friend haven't eat the dinner yet. So she managed with the chef and prepared 2 delicious dishes (which one is a signature crab's dishes) for our dinner. That was too warm and memorable. It will take me to choice Sai Thong and Anatara for my next visit in Hua Hin.Note:1st photo is tonight.Outside photo was in bday night.Dear Khun Olivia, Thank you so much for taking the time to review us and we really appreciate it.I am concerned to receive your feedback about the limited of crab that you had received during your dining experience. A fantastic quirky cafe, with the best meal we've had in Thailand. The food was divine. The cafe is eco friendly, with metal straws and items for sale to support the eco focus, as well as unusual items which make great mementos of your holiday or gifts. We were delighted to see the eco friendly focus - well done to the owners and staff for this. Other food places could learn a lot from this cafe. We highly recommend that you go there, but remember to apply your mosquito repellant. The cafe is set in a lovely leafy environment, meaning there are lots of mosquitos. The cafe does sell eco friendly repellent too. Put it on or better still wear long pants and sleeves. Hi BrianThank you very much for taking time to review on TA. Your review reflects your eco idea and attentive vision too as you described exactly how we present our home to our guests. We committed to a simple ideaâhomeâ where our guests feeling like part of our family so food drinks environment host and you are counted.Hope to see you next time Cheers Node and indy

Itâs been a few years since we have been in a Hua Hin & weâre looking g forward to going back to the Social Salad.Greeted by friendly staff, told to pick a table & given menus to peruse. The menu is bigger now, with a range of foods to suit pretty much any taste. I seriously think the only way you could have a bad meal here would be if you ordered something you didnât like- for me, that would be a bowl of cauliflower We had som tum- crispy & tangy, a delicious Penang curry- loaded with pieces of chicken & pumpkin, the larb gai is the best Iâve had. My hubby likes Thai spicy, but I canât handle that heat, so it was tweaked to perfection. A light fluffy naan bread & rice were accompaniments. We also had a few of the smoothies, just loved the combo of my favorite tropical fruits- mango, pineapple & passionfruit. If we donât oversleep again tomorrow, we plan on taking a short walk there for breakfast.Dear Margaret,Thank-you so much for your review, and for being a friendly and loyal customer since the start of The Family Tree and The Social Salad. Yes, now we are in the third year. We are so happy that you enjoyed your meal.We have a lot of new dishes on the menu. The Penang is one of the most popular - vegan or with chicken or prawns are the best!We can give you a wake-up call before breakfast if you like :-).Warm regards,Dtor and the team

Pretty much in the centre of the town and very close to the major hotels, The Royal Indian is certainly not the cheapest place but with the price tag comes decent quality and well prepared offerings. Whether it is the best in town is subjective but no complaints here - the food was tasty, served well by attentive staff and the bread was welcoming and 'piping hot'.Would I return for a second visit - well, yes - the overall experience was favourable to warrant another trip.

Simple Thai restaurant with small air conditioned inside space and a couple of tables outside. Large menu of Thai standards and a few western dishes. Friendly service. It might not look much from the outside but we enjoyed a good lunch here. One dish with squid and roasted chilli paste (pad prik pao) and one chicken with curry paste (pad pet gaeng). Both relatively authentic and much better than you usually get from 'touristy' looking places.Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.
