Prachuap Khiri Khan (Thai: ประจวบคีรีขันธ์, pronounced [prā.t͡ɕùa̯p.kʰīː.rīː.kʰǎn]) is a town in southern Thailand. It is the capital of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and is on the coast at one of the narrowest stretches in Thailand, only 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the Burmese border at Dan Sing Khon in the Tenasserim Hills. The area has large pineapple and coconut industries, in addition to being popular with Thai tourists. The town is 291 km south of Bangkok by road.

Good value brecki, great breads and coffee.Probably the most miserable Thai waitress I have ever encountered though! Don't let her unhappy mush put you off though, well worth a visit.

We went here for dinner after the resort staff recommended to us after asking about nearby seafood restaurant in town. The restaurant is located next to a relatively new sidewalk along the beach. There are a few stores nearby but this seems to be the only restaurant on that particular section of the strip. The food was decent and relatively cheap. We spent about 809 baht for two ordering about 6 dishes plus beers. We actually couldn't finish all of it. The seafood was fresh. The restaurant also seemed to be quite popular amongst local as the place became relatively packed around 6:30PM in the evening.
I would recommend coming here either for lunch or early dinner so you can still stroll around the beach and the sidewalk before or after.

We ordered fried sea bass with mango salad, seafood with chili paste, chicken with cashew nuts and crispy pork with kales and the only thing that we could actually finished was the sea bass. The location and atmosphere were great but food and service were disappointed

We're very surprised at the very high quality of the Thai food in this restaurant. Seated at a table overlooking the street, we had a very nice meal. Tables had table cloths, cloth napkins and candles. We had a green chicken curry, a mussaman duck curry, the deep fried pork ribs and a vegetable stir fry with shrimp. The dishes were all of high quality and ample portions. All were nicely presented and were delicious; dishes were not spicy.
Service was very attentive with water glasses filled and two waiters watching over our table. My Thai guests enjoyed the food as much as I did.

Staying for a week at a friend's beach condo in Hua Hin, Thailand, we chanced upon Baan Talay Dao restaurant. Approaching it from the beach, it looked nice enough to try. Our first lunch of papaya salad, vietnamese spring rolls and grilled fish in a chili-lime sauce was such a pleasant surprise that we returned again today for lunch. Having grown up in the south of the U.S., I know slow-cooked BBQ ribs. The offering here was as good as I have ever eaten. At my request, the chef added some green peppers to the BBQ sauce for a little zing. Fantastic!
In Thailand, the food comes as it is ready, meaning that you and your lunchmates eat at different times. If you are willing to accept this casualness, you will love the food.

I have been frequenting Krua Kannikar for as long as i can remember, every trip i make to Hua Hin this is the first stop i make for Lunch. Their hours are a bit strange 10:30 to 17:00. The crowd is primarily Bangkokians with a few locals. The price is comparable to good Bangkok restaurants but a bit pricey for Hua Hin but definitely worth it.
On the weekends don't go during peak hours as you will need to wait and find it very hard to park your car. As all they have is parking along the side of the street. I would recommend going an hour early or mid afternoon. Weekdays it doesn't get overly crowded.
Their fried chickens are amazing, supposedly from free range chickens. If you like spicy ask for the nam jim jaew with kao krua, it is better than the standard sauce they offer. The tom yum gai is also excellent and very spicy.
Lastly i recommend kanom jeen nam ya gai (chicken in red curry) - i never have been a fan of this dish but this place does it very well and i converted - but will only eat at this spot.
The atmosphere, well its outdoor, half the Seating has a roof the other doesn't so if it is raining - it makes it that much more difficult to find a seat and people are packing into the little space that is protected. It is outdoor no aircon so be prepared for the beach and road heat. The owner is extremely friendly and walks around serving people, its a family run business and definitely hasn't lost its charm. A delineate must try if you are in hua hin, and an excellent way to break the non-stop seafood meals that most visiting people do.

This coffee shop been here for 7 years, and can get really busy during high season. Great for breakfast, snack or afternoon break. Amazing Banoffee Pie, my daughter said it is the best in the world! Waffles are very good too, try this coffee shop next time you are in Hua Hin or on your way past. Open from 08:00 to 17:00, close Wednesday.... By the way if you never have ice coffee before, try it here (my favourite).

Ristorante pizzeria gelato pane fresco tutti i giorni tutti prodotti italiani
We are really pizza lovers and had really great pizzas in different restaurants all over the world! And the pizza in this restaurant was really great! Completely unexpected to find a real italian restaurant in Thailand after one month of traveling! We love the thai kitchen, but the kids love to eat western food sometimes! They were in heaven at "Ciao Pizza"!!!
