Discover a delicious variety of the best regional Azorean cuisine, focused on local seafood and fish and the tenderness of Azorean meat. Made with quality and respect for the fresh ingredients and tradition of the Azores.
Our hotel recommendations here bang on! This restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the best octopus dishes ever. The fish was tender and well prepared. The seafood soup was excellent and the shrimp was so flavourful. Our server was very attentive and the view of the ocean from the balcony was beautiful. We went again the next day and had the same wonderful experience. What a pleasure to read your review @Adkfamily! It represents our everyday work to offer a great experience to our customers. We hope we can have your visit again. Best regards

quaint lttle Irish pub with home cooked fresh food at very reasonable prices..The first IRISH PUB in the AZORES..Getting ready for the RUGBY WORLD CUP..KITCHEN OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT..
My wife and I were finishing up our day and couldn't resist a stop into this very well apportioned Irish Pub, especially one located in this little outcropping. The gentleman who owns the bar (unfortunately I forgot his name) is very nice and welcoming. The Guinness is fresh and tastes like that of Ireland. Though he offered some wonderful meal choices we were moving on so only had the beer. Will make an excursion back for a meal next time.

It was within walking distance of our hotel and had good reviews on trip advisor so we went. Very small restaurant and very busy. We got the last table for two. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. We had to wait a while for our food as it is all freshly prepared. Everything was good and they even have house wine served in a jug - much cheaper than the bottles of wine and perfectly drinkable. We returned the next night and our experience was the same. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The Restaurant Praia Cafe had a wonderful view over the sea. It offers a cozy kitchen with local products and the fish is our house specialty. From June to September you can have our meals and drink one of the ten top gins of the world enjoying the best m
Sitting on the terrace overlooking the beach we had a couple of burgers, swordfish and the aubergine mille feulle (one of the few vegetarian dishes). Fish and burgers entitled to free starter which include lovely brioche type sweet bread with goats cheese and a super delicious jam (mix of apricot and honey). All food reasonably priced and delicious. Not sure about other times but on the August bank holiday we got by chance one of the few non-reserved tables at 12:00; so making a reservation would seem like a good idea. Muito obrigada pelo seu comentário! A opinião de quem nos visita é sempre muito importante para nós. Esperamos poder voltar a contar contar com a sua visita. Até breve!

The best place to eat regional cuisine tidbits in Pico island.
I went with a group of 12 and we had the set menu. Cheese, bread and olives (cheese very good), tuna bites (very good), fava beans (ordinary), salad (hard to mess that up), fish with potatoes (very good), meat that might have been lamb (extremely tough and tasteless), chips (pretty good), dessert (I chose chocolate mousse, excellent) and wine (red and white both really nice). All this for â¬18. Service was fast and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant would have got 5 stars if the meat had not been so terrible.
