I booked this restaurant some months before as it was my 60th Birthday treat. I went with my wife and mother in law as we were visiting Portsmouth. We started with some lovely warm olive oil bread with oil and balsamic which was lovely and set the tastebuds going. I opted for a starter and had the avocado, tomato, mozarella and parma ham which was a lovely combination of ingredients. I had a spaghetti carbonara with a rugola salad. My wife and mother in law had penne with a creamy sauce of chicken and bacon. Absolutely lovely and approved by all. The restaurant was full and we went on a Tuesday evening at 7pm so booking is essential. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. the bill was also very reasonable even with a bottle of wine.

Having been to frankie & bennys a lot of times including breakfast and always been happy with our visit. The restaurant is nice and reasonably priced and conveniently located for a cinema/dinner trip. However on our most recent visit I walked into the restaurant slightly ahead of my boyfriend by around 2 minutes and was completely ignored and look past by the immediate front desk staff who literally stared through me as if I didnât exist. When my boyfriend then walked in they straight away greeted him and asked him if he would like a table, again ignoring me completely. Couldnât help being hugely offended and the apparent situation but we continued regardless. Breakfast was good as usual and well priced, also included taste card which saved us some money. The only downside except for the greeting was that one glass of orange juice cost £3.39 which is just extortionate! Itâs a half pint of orange juice (not fresh) and is mostly watered down with ice so I really canât see why this price is justified.

We came to the restuarant two weeks ago on a Saturday to be told they were short staffed as the manager was opening another restaurant. By short staffed they meant they only had a waitress and a chef.We walked in and immediately realised how cramped it was - everyone sitting on top of each other. The tables were filthy and not clean at all.Ordered our wine - which they forgot until they came to take our order. Ordered water for the table which we never even got.... We did say we were in no rush and take their time.Well what was served was certainly not fine dining. I wish i had taken a photo now but it was quite honestly food just shoved on a plate. The risotto was under cooked, chips burnt, the fish was just water - it was just horrible. The antipasti starter was quite literally meat thrown on a plate with a few olives - a child would have made it look better. The chef took the starters away and never cleaned up the mess that they left.Needless to say we sent the food back and went to the Coach and Horses... we were followed in by some fellow diners who told us that there was no food left when they went to order. We were told by others that we were not the only ones to end up eating in there - which by the way was fantastic! We only live round the corner so it's a real shame. It could be a real goldmine but I personally think that they cater for the people with cocktails. Will certainly not go back i was ill for days afterwards and even had to take time off work.

The food at Artys is simple and fresh, run by a young couple trying very hard to make a success of their restaurant. Its hard to find great food in this part of the country and Artyâs seems like a nice, reliable spot for pizza and pasta and a bottle of wine. They have specials every time and a nice selection of sharing starters, as well as the main focus of pasta and pizza. Itâs always busy and the staff are friendly, a good local staple.

Food and cocktails were lovely.A little bit pricey but did get NHS discount, so softened the blow. Service was OK. The negative was the latte was one of the worst I'd had but the gin cocktail made up for it.!!

Casual dining pizzeria serving pizza whole and by the slice, to eat in and take away. Home of Waterlooville's 20" pizza!
I keep coming back here, if ever I mention Pizza the kids insist on Giorgioâs. I can not recommend Giorgioâs enough. I came in here when they first opened and have returned time and time again since. Family run, fantastic friendly service and amazing food. Thank you soo much guys keep up the great work x

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Zizzi Port Solent is located on the boardw
Don't know why this place is so busy because the food was mildly 'acceptable' .... bland, flavorless, badly presented. If we weren't so hungry, we would've sent it back. Wait staff is busy running around ... not checking on whether or not you are satisfied or need anything else. We won't be back.

Our 3rd visit in 18 months. As before, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch with superb food and good service.Perfect Minestrone, garlic bread and pizzas. Huge portions, well-cooked, hot and looked great on the plate. My mushroom/onion/peppers pizza was as good as it gets.Friendly efficient service throughout.Comfy seats and spacious.Unless you want a window table, or are a large group, probably no need to book apart from peak evenings. It deserves to be full though. On road parking nearby, level access.Love it.

I am not really a fan of Pizza Restaurants in general as they are all much the same with very little individuality on offer. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experiences at Prezzo in Port Solent. I had been there before, but it was many years ago. Although it is much the same as it was (why change a successful formula), I felt that it had a much better ambience that I recalled. As it was, my choice of Calzone with mushroom starter was excellent and I really enjoyed both the meal and the restaurant itself.I have to say that the staff that helped us enjoy our meal did a fantastic job - offering just the right level of attentiveness without being intrusive!I loved it!Thank you. Przzo - and especially your staff!
