Porto Alegre is a cultural heavyweight—from museums to an edgy music scene, the city overflows with creativity. The best show of all may be sunset on the Guaiba River, which brings a nightly audience to the waterfront.

This hotel was decent. Clean room, great location. You can walk about 5 blocks to the public market, other shopping, the train station (metro) is right next to the public market, city buses to everywhere between hotel and public market. The breakfast was good. The bathroom was very small. Great budget hotel.

We stayed here in June. The hotel was overall nice and had a complimentary breakfast. However, our last day there and at checkout we noticed our bags were moved in the room. When we checked out we then discovered over $800 REAL stolen. When we were checking out we had NO MONEY to even get us to the airport. When we tried to communicate this to the hotel they of course didn't speak any English. Luckily, there was a gentleman checking out the same time as us to go to the airport and paid for our cab. When we returned I contacted the hotel regarding the theft and they claimed we NEVER STAYED THERE. I then emailed them our receipt that they gave us for the stay and asked for something to please be done and they stopped responding to all emails. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Excelente localização (pra minha finalidade). Quarto e banheiro limpos. Café da manhã simples OK e é entregue no quarto. Atendimento OK. Cama e travesseiros ruins. TV só pega canal aberto. Check in 12h e check out 14h

Thus hotel pictures looks good and a bit expensive for the quality being offered. Arguably the worst hotel I stayed in during the World Cup in 2014 BRASIL Thankfully, I only changed my booking from 3 days to one day due to securing a Quarter Final ticket match for the World Cup. It was a blessing in disguise really. I checked in Midday and arrived back in the hotel around 2:am. The room smells like a place that has not been used for a long time. I could not use the bathroom and just wash to get out by 5:30am. Thankfully , my flight was early and could not wait to get out. It's neat in a way but does not meet my standard. For the price they were charging, it's a total farce and worse part was that they demanded payment before checking in which was not appropriate Will not recommend and my view from the window was a disused rotten car dumps which was disgusting. I probably spent only 3 hours in total and it's good riddance
