This restaurant totally stands out in Port Antonio from the building itself, to the relaxed vibes, and AMAZING food. No butter used in their recipes, coconut oil instead. Start with the pumpkin talkari and wings. End with a steamed fish and oxtail. The best steamed fish Iâve ever had. Would definitely return and recommend!

We went one evening for dinner and we enjoyed it. The menu is not extensice but everything is fresh and tasty. I had the vegetarian menu and it was really good, in particular a "vegetable curry" with coconut sauce (the only "oddity" from my point of view was to have a salad as a side to a vegetable curry and after a salad starter). My partner had the ribs and loved them. Wine was good as well.We were the only guests so it felt personal and we got to chat with the owner, a nice lady indeed. It is a bit expensive for what you get but I guess Jamaica is different from home.

Breakfast/brunch, Lunch, And Dinner
For years it has been a challenge to find good good restaurants in the Port Antonio area - if you wanted to branch out beyond chicken with rice and peas.Gladly there is the Bushbar, the restaurant at well known Boutique Hitel Geejam which fills the void. While not for the budget traveler, it offers a nice range of food which puts a layer of local flavors over some international staples. Cooked to perfection and beautifully presented you can enjoy a nice meal in a low key environment of tropical understated elegance. The food is complimented by a nice cocktail menu and a fairly extensive wine list at reasonable prices.
