It was a busy lunchtime around the square, I reckon there are a dozen or so restaurants, all rapidly filling up......must of been a coach tour around somewhere.Take your pick...they all looked good and your bound to find something you'll like, plus there was some fine entertainment going on with a talented musician.We don't eat much at lunch, and the 30 degrees plus temperature makes you less hungry. We opted for some "tapas"....great wee choice of nibbles really.Staff were friendly and kept busy....also,one thing I noticed, they found time to feed one of the locals who had fallen on hard times and needed some lunch too...nice touch.Thankyou for visiting us. The square does get busy at lunchtime and yes, our staff, look after the locals who need help. Ferragudo is the place to be!!Hopefully you can return soon.Andrew, Helena and The Team

To be honest I have been coming here for years and on reading the most recent reviews I was 50/50 whether we would visit this year.But we ventured over and was pleasantly surprised .. beautiful beach view, listening to chilled tunes from morning to night. Bed hire â¬15 pp not bad at all. Service can be hit and miss- Miguel is fantastic if you are lucky enough to get him If you at heading out this way then youâd be daft not to drop in for a lovely relaxing day on the beach thereâs a huge inflatable âitâs a knock outâ type of thing in the sea which is open to all ages (life jackets supplied) which is great entertainment.

Excellent service, great food. It is an all you can eat buffet served lunchtimes and evenings. the price is excellent even though the evening buffet is slightly more expensive. You order 6 dishes of your choice and after eating this you can order more dishes up to six at a time. I found the food delicious and the portions were quite big for tapas and found the six dishes I ordered more than enough. Favourite dish? I enjoyed all of the ones I chose and the rest of my party were more than satisfied with their choices. Would definitely return.
