This was one of my favourite restaurants that we ate at all week. The staff were very attentive & kept seeing if we we're okay. The food was lovely although you do have to cook your own steak. The portions are huge & you'll never leave hungry. For dessert I had a crepe & yes it was expensive but it was also the size of my head nearly. You get to choose your own scoops of ice cream & I had Oreo & Strawberry, it was the best Oreo Ice Cream I'd ever had.

We love this little gem of a place and often stop for a quick lunch. Good food and pleasant staff. Prices are pretty decent too. A quirky little place situated perfect for people watching.

This is another one of several really good local Portuguese style restaurants in Alvor which are easy to overlook or dismiss as too touristy. In fact the food, service and atmosphere are all excellent, and although quite small, the tables have more space around them than some of the others. We had a good couvert, my wife had chicken piri-piri which was moist and tasty and I had a beautifully cooked omelet. When, after drinking some of our wine, we suspected it was not right, the lady in charge agreed without any hesitation and replaced it - great service.

Saw this restaurant and it had available seats outside, looked attractive with its pretty lamps. We decided to stay for a meal and wine after seeing how popular it was and the sight of the meals. Great choice. The waiter was excellent when I asked about the clams and seafood spaghetti - he informed his cousin catches the clams - doesnât get fresher than that!! My other half had Cremona pasta, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the carafe of wine was excellent . Certainly recommend in

We tried this little restaurant after wandering around and couldn't decide where to go (so much choice) great find we had flambe chorizo to start salmon and tbone steak for mains. They we're Beautiful, really tasty and cooked to perfection. The restaurant decor is lovely every little detail and the staff very professional and helpful. Thank you can't recommend enough

We have been to Vagabondo four times now across two years. We've never been disappointed by our dining experience here. The Steaks in particular are fantastic quality and well cooked with a wide selection of accompaniments. Our personal favourites for starter are the Scallops with Pea Puree and Truffle Oil and the Satay Chicken. Highly recommend a seat in the garden patio area out back. Can't wait to come back!

We wanted to take some friends who live in the Algarve somewhere they hadnât been before - I think it was a good choice. We shared four different tapas as starters, ranging from scrambled egg to chourico assado, all really good. For our main courses, two of us had pork cheeks, I had bifinhos de frango and my friend had arros tamboril. The food was good quality, well cooked and served nicely. The restaurant decor is modern, the tables are well spaced, the maître d' is helpful and knowlegable, especially about local wine. It is more of a restaurant than wine bar and being a little off the beaten track, easily missed, itâs bmid-range in price, and we can recommend it.
