C-Bali Restaurant & Beach bar is a stylish restaurant located on St. Michael's Beach. It is a comfortable place with a beautiful beachfront view and fantastic people. The cozy bar is a great spot for cocktails and we’ve got a great selection of craft beer. We offer a wide variety of dishes including authentic Thai dishes, fresh seafood, sushi, steaks, light meals and mush more. The menu includes our famous Flying Dutchman Potjie, a medley of seafood in a creamy garlic and parsley sauce served in a truly South African way. We cater for special events, staff parties, birthday parties etc. Enjoy our delicious Bali inspired meals just a few steps from the ocean. C-Bali the place to be!
We have thought it is only seafood they served but we were surprised , because the people joint us there not every one is eating seafood. Me and my wife have had the seafood potjie and it was very good. Our waiter were very friendly and was helpful with everything ( choice of food and drinks ) I can promised you if I ever go to Uvongo again that place is my first choice .

Almost everything that I have tasted on the menu is excellent. They have the best steak that I have tasted. Khanye is the best manager I have come across and always willing to assist you.
The only downside is that we we local people, when holiday makers are down no Reservations are allowed, this makes local people feel that their patronage is unappreciated. One has to get there an wait for a table.

It was like coming home for my friends who had been away for 3 years. The lamb chops were just as she remembered them. we dined well starters Choriso and shrimp, Aubergine bake, Steak, Chops and a Pasta, only 2 of us could do justice to the pannacotta dessert.

Went for a Sunday lunch, chose to order of the set menu, the food was greasy and highly disappointing, the prawns were undercooked and translucent and the service was awful, they came to check on us, from time to time, was not that busy and a smile or even a friendly gesture was too much clearly.
The calamari however was well cooked, at least hence the 2 stars i gave the restaurant, very poor on the whole.

We are on a quick weekend to the KZN South Coast and decided to give Munchner House a try. The reviews seemed to indicate a high quality of food.
We all though the food was average. We ordered speciality German food, Eisbein, Schnitzel and Gordon Rouge. Nothing stood out as memorable.
Eisbein ordered as crispy came out with a soft skin on it, certainly not crispy. It was tasty, but I had to cut off the entire skin to make it edible. Both other dishes dry and somewhat bland.
Our youngest ordered pizza and this was good. Thin base and very tasty.
I would not call the German food good here. A lot more could be done to improve food quality and taste.
Service was good and attentive, but we were they only table in the restaurant, so we would expect this.
We have eaten at better options on the South Coast.

During the past holiday season we decided to vist this restaurant. A very "clueless" waiter served us initially with drinks which were not what was ordered. More than half an hour later we were asked whether we would like to order food, which we declined.
We then left for their "sister" restaurant "Fish on the River" next door. After waiting more than two hours our food order eventually arrived. Now this is where I have a problem, why do restauranteurs take advantage of visitors/holiday makers by thinking they can take as long as they want to. No apologies, no it will take two hours, no we are "full" . Even though on holiday, visitors too have a time schedule, only to be subjected to this type of service.
As visitors we are aware that these holiday towns rely on holiday makers so that they can "rake" in as much as possible, but please show some respect!

Pitstop is a Restaurant & Pub on the South Coast in Banana Beach, with 1000s of model cars on display. Food provided ranges from Steak, Seafood, Hamburgers to Pizzas and Kiddies meals. Our Hamburgers Start out from small/average to our big 8.25kg monster which is served for groups of 8 - 10 people. Pitstop, Where Friend and Family Meet
Wow, this is a pub/restaurant with a difference. Thousands of scale model cars adorn the walls so for any miniature automobile enthusiast this is a dream. Location is slightly hidden and not so easy to find, but worth a visit for a quick beer or five. Food is standard pub style grub, with the exception of insane burgers that sport a 8kg pure beef patty. You'll need a large family to get through this one.
Food is of good standard, service can be slow and confusing but all fun when your on holiday and not too bothered about being in a hurry.
Definitely worth a visit even if it's just to take in the walls of little cars.

This restaurant is the best value for money on the South Coast. On Sundays there are to three course meal options available; one Sunday Roast and the other Fish and Chips.
There is a choice of starters and dessert with either option. The portions are generous and food is wholesome as opposed to fancy. Good atmosphere with pub on the side - can be a bit sweaty at this time of the year.
Good friendly service from waitresses and floor walkers.
Good gig!

Chef Zander will tantalize your taste buds with great home made South African cuisine. Their brownies and the lemon meringue is to die for. For the not so sweet tooth, try the curried stir fry. Totally love the Beaver Creek coffee selection of which a different coffee is featured every day, Transkei gold, is my favorite.
