We were 5 people for dinner. Some of us had reasonable quality food. I myself was deceived by ordering Negresko void of chicken and my wife had burnt grilled half chicken. Be more selective from the menu.

Has street outlet for take-away and a dining room on the canal shore (amazing view), serving the same food as sold outside. Good for a fast and relatively cheap meal.

I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time came there by my husband's boss recommendation. Amazing choice of sea food. The second time I would like to repeat my experience and failed. The waiter serving me was courteous at the beginning but inserted a salad I did not order and over calculated me. I paid by MasterCard and then compared the bill - I demanded to charge me back. Restaurant Manger listened to me and did nothing. Spoiled impression and prices inflated in comparison with the first my visit.Probably will recommend but you should be on alert. Sea view is stunning. Alcohol is not serving. WC is primitive and next door restaurant.

Does not start service till 1 PM. Fish soup is very good with an excellent broth. Fried rice is flavored with lovely sautéed onions and shrimp. The sautéed fish (bream I believe) was perfectly cooked. The shrimp peeled very easily meaning not over cooked at all. Homemade hot sauce was to die for. Reasonable lay good service.

I use to be a frequent visitor to this restaurant whenever I come to Egypt. Lately however, unfortunately it’s declining in reference to quality, service, and cleanliness, but most importantly, the new staff who will do anything to conn you on the menu. For example, I ordered for 8 people, no salads. Within 5min, plats of salads and appetizer started to rain on us. I told the waiter that we didn’t order these, with smile, he said this comes with your order. It’s free. So I replied fine.We were about to start eating, the waiters kept hovering around us, then gradually approaching me and saying that they’re about the finish their shifts, so if you need anything, now is the time. Bottom line they wanted a tip before leaving. We have barely started to eat. It was very sad. Then the surprise was when we received the bill. Things we didn’t order, charged for the salads, and much much more.Regretfully, AlBorg is NO longer what it used to be.
