Sandwiched between the Indian Ocean and a mountain backdrop, Port Louis blends Mauritius modernity and tradition. The Caudan Waterfront entices shoppers with fashion, local crafts and live entertainment. Domaine les Pailles, with its 18th-century ox-driven sugar mill and colonial architecture, houses a new casino. Seek out the capital city's vast Bazaar, built in 1828, for spices, souvenirs and a lunch of fried noodles. For great views, hike the pedestrians-only road up Signal Mountain.

Villa Jorico is situated on the west coast of Mauritius, south of Port Louis, the capital (facing the ocean). Also only 25 minutes from the international Swami Vivekananda exhibition centre. Convenient for business or leisure purposes. The villa is a large colonial style house comprising single/double rooms, family suites (adjoining rooms) and self-catering apartments surrounded by a luscious tropical garden including a very large swimming pool, playground area and boules piste.
Villa Anakao is a great and really unique place to stay. The room we stayed in was decorated with unique African style and was really cozy. The staff was really friendly, giving us advice on what to do and where to go and helping us book day trips. They really made us feel welcome and special with their service. They also had a cute dog named Zulu, which was really lovely. Villa Anakao is a really communal place to stay. You can get to know the staff and other guests if you want to spend time at the lovely terrace or a little restaurant area in the yard. There is really nice, and a big pool in the yard and you can go to supping to the ocean almost straight from the yard. Breakfast was good (fried eggs or omelet, bread, fruits and pancakes, and great coffee), and they offered it to you right at the table. You can also have lunch and dinner at the Villa at a reasonable price. They have their own chef who makes excellent Mauritius food. Overall, the atmosphere and energy in this Villa are charming. The only minus is the location cause there aren't any good restaurants or beaches near Villa. Although we had rented a car, so it wasn't a problem. You can take a bus or taxi to places as well. Still, we would highly recommend renting a car cause it's inexpensive in Mauritius.

Skvěle zařízené. Čisto. 3 ložnice 2koupelny s WC obývak s jídelnou a kuchyní a 2balkony. Káva a čaj zdarma.piti v lednici se platí včetně vody. Krásný výhled na město a moře. Jen okolí je po 2 hod úplně mrtvé. Není nic otevřené a nepotkate nikoho.10 min pěšky je McDonald, kfc, pizza hut a malý supermarket se spoustou lidi. Možná jediný v celém městě?. V každém případě je ubytování skvělé.

Le Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel is a truly majestic business hotel. The Hotel has world class amenities, offers high-end gastronomy and provides an award-winning service. But what makes it ever so special is the smile of each and every member of the personnel. I’m wife and I are huge fans!

Hotel is right by the racecourse and not very well located for the waterfront. Whilst not unsafe to walk back to at night it is very quiet and isolated. The rooms were very basic and furnished with formica wardrobe and desk. The shower had seen better days and the toilet ran constantly when flushed. Walls are paper thin and I could hear the conversation of the people next door before I was moved. I wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice. Air con was very noisy and not easily adjustible with the remote control. On the plus side - safe in the room and the wifi was reliable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
