If ever someone is going to Port Louis , one should definitely eat there. It offers the best service and best food in the capital. The place may be somewhat different from others but the food is very tasty. It has become my favourite place. The service is rapid and the staff have good manners. Somaza which means so delicious is truly one !

The restaurant is located on Queen Street right behind Jummah Mosque.
Good selection of Korean food on the menu, every dish was tasty and the waiter was very helpful. Love the concept, felt like as if I was abroad in a Korean restaurant.

Went here after seeing a long line of locals out the front. Delicious! Abit of a wait due to the popularity but definitely get the farata (roti) as it is made fresh in front of you (dholl pouri is good but not as fresh). I had vegetarian and chose the ingredients I usually love- pickled veg, red rougaille sauce, green/brown tamarind sauce and chili- amazing. My partner got the chicken curry filling and also loved it. Would go back

I've been there many times, I like the food not cheap but affordable, nice service, decoration and variety of dishes... Well situated but unfortunately can be a bit painful for elderly or those having difficulties to walk since there are many stairs and no elevator.

The most ancient Chinese restaurant in Mauritius.Bringing you the perfect taste since 1946.
The restaurant has been recommended by some other friends and finally got the opportunity to test it. It is located in the centre of the capital and is one of the oldest in Chinatown. The service is great, the menu is very varied. Unlike most restaurants, the sauces of the dishes are different, so sharing takes a new turn here. Try the squid, the preparation is terrific. Prices are good for the quality. Dear Yasin, we are pleased that you were able to visit us and that you liked the squid :) We also thank you for your support. We hope to see you very soon. Best regards. Martine Lai Min

Extremely disappointing, after reading the reviews we were expecting much much more. Ate Indian food in many countries (including India) but this was dreadful. Staff were friendly although uncomfortably staring too much. Most food was included in expensive set menus making it difficult to order just individual dishes. So we had one set menu and two individual dishes. All tasted terrible. The kebab was dry and tasted like cardboard. The chicken masala was just weird and sour, the rice was dry and the sauces were not spicy and tasted bad. Naan bread was just so-so too.To be fair, only good item was the mango lassi drink. And all that for an incredibly high price of more than 75 Euro!Stay away, the Indian food in the waterfront food courts is much better and cheaper!

Iâve had this place recommended to me and as I walked passed, noticed it was busy, even at lunchtime, where other places were empty. Always a good start. I had a fish curry and some sides, but the star of the show was the supremely delicious faratha bread. They do get that right here in Port Louis. Being busy the attention to detail was slightly lacking, but the service was friendly, and the price was right as well.

Best Hidden Gem In Mauritius
Came here at busy lunchtime in Mauritius mid week. The place looks very run down and not very appetizing but given the amount of people in there I figured it must be good. Had the chicken fried noodles and it was delicious. I'm sure there are better places in Port Louis but this place overall could be better if the waiters cleaned up quickly after leaving guests. When we arrived at our table the previous diners food was still there with all of their mess.

The best BOL DEVIRÃ of Mauritius - The chinese hakka version of PAELLA... Cooked Rice, stir fried veggie and various meat, served with slice chinese pork sausage and a fried egg on top... all layered in a bowl with the egg always on top - then the bolw is turned over... hence BOL DEVIRÃ in local language literally means UPSIDE DOWN BOLW... A MUST ENJOY if you go there... The HAKKIEN - spring roll is absolute heaven...
