Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker is owned and operated by Gwyn Hensley. We serve ice cream, homemade fudge, salt water taffy, shaved ice, and cold drinks. We have outdoor seating right next to the bay with a parrot aviary. Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker is open 7 days a week all year for your pleasure. We look forward to seeing you.
Great stop while checking out Pirates Landing. Ice cream really good. Sherbet was pineapple ! The snow cones were served in a really cute dish but melted all over me while trying to get it back to the truck for my mother-in-law. (Don't get it to go...maybe eat right there on the spot in the shade.!) Cute picture ops too. Walk across the street and check out the cool tree carvings, statues. Walk to the Landing for good pics too, you don't have to get on the pier if you don't want too.

We are a Fresh Seafood Market with a Full time Galley available. We provide the Freshest Seafood in town brought in daily from our own Shrimpboats.
I had the grilled flounder and fried shrimp combo. Next time I will skip the shrimp and get a large order of flounder. The flounder was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. My husband had the grilled shrimp, which was better than the fried shrimp. They have a nice fish market downstairs.

This is a small local bakery south of the highway in Port Isabel. The selection is limited but the baked goods are fresh. You need to arrive early in the morning before they are sold out. The prices for the baked goods are incredibly inexpensive. Good, cheap, and fresh, what more can you ask for? In addition they have a cooler with milk and juice and a few tables for sit down customers. The locals use this place for a take-out breakfast.

This restaurant was recommended to us by people we met on the pier. It is not fancy, food served on paper plates, but it is great food with reasonable prices! The shrimp were so good and portions were large. Definitely a place to go to!!

Not a huge fan already, but we had to state our order several times, then our order had to be re-typed in and re-charged thru the credit card because the waiter said he processed the card incorrectly. the order came out under the first order number but not the number on our processed receipt. After others in our group were eating we re-asked about our food. They said we hadn't responded to the call of number 53 (because our receipt said 56). So they gave us the cold food and with wrong condiments. We asked for a re-do. They did but it still wasn't right. The seat backs were sticky; the tea dispenser handle was totally gross with stickiness and someone threw up at the front door just before we left and they didn't clean it up until I pointed it out... But there were already footprints through it. They are not on their game. Would not recommend.

Marcello's menu is varied and has delicious options. I enjoyed the portabello, spinach and feta vegetarian lasagne which was absolutely delicious! (And so big that I got a second meal out of it). My husband enjoyed his fish dish with pasta. The pre-dinner bread is to die for, seasoned and buttery and oh so yum. Waitress very attentive. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved this place!

We are a family waterfront casual restaurant. We are a pirate themed style restaurant and bar on the water.
Of all the places that we dined while on vacation on SPI, Pirate's Landing had the most extensive menu with good options. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server who was able to answer questions and make suggestions. The restaurant is located directly off the the highway on a pier with good water views. We started the meal with a take off on a bIoomin' onion...but much better. The batter on the onion was light but crisp. Very good. For dinner, I selected a shrimp dish. The shrimp was butterflied and then stuffed with a jalapeño strip and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, grilled and then drizzled with a raspberry sauce. The meal came with a side salad and grilled vegetables. The salad was cold and crisp. My husband had a fish combo plate which he said was very good. The portions are very generous. The meal comes with biscuits that are out of this world. Almost like dessert. Good food, great service and wonderful ambiance. Would go back.

Stopped in for lunch and as soon as I looked at the menu I knew I had made a mistake. The prices are so low it was scary. We both had the plate #2 which had a beef taco, enchilada, and what they list as a chalupa but to me is a tostada, rice and beans for $6. Let’s just say I wouldn’t have it again. The staff was prompt and very friendly.
