De Kelder Restaurant specialises in Seafood, Steaks and local Venison.open Monday to Friday 12.00 to 2.00 and 6.00pm to 10.00 pm Monday to Saturday.
We looked forward to our meal having read so many positive reviews. Our experience was extremely negative. Our waiter was very courteous but service was disorganised. In contrast to other diners, we were offered no bread prior to the meal, an oversight that was pointed out. When the "hot" starter arrived - it was cold. When this was pointed out, a "fresh" starter was brought out that was ovecooked and still cold. At this point we asked to speak to the manager who seemed disinterested in our concerns. At that point we left the restaurant quite stunned by the quality of food, by the disorganised service and by the very uncaring and negative attitude of management. Beware!

Fushin Sushi and Eastern Cuisine is situated in the charming neighbourhood of Richmond Hill in Port Elizabeth. You will find us on Stanley Street, where you can choose to enjoy your meal inside our comfortable restaurant, or take a seat outside and enjoy the cheerful social atmosphere to be found on the Stanley Street restaurant strip.
Stubled upon this restaurant that you must queue at. Easily rivals the best sushi restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at in the world and in PE . The service was excellent, the food amazing and I would recommend it with my life. Enjoy and especially the value for money.

Ordered 1 ribs, 1 chips, 12 prawns and a whole chicken as takeaways. R 740. The chicken was dry, over cooked and tasteless. The ribs were dry and tasteless. Prawns well cooked. Chips soggy. The standards here have dropped dramatically and we won’t be going back.

We were visiting friends and they recommended we visit and made a booking. The service is hands-on by the owner. The food quality is outstanding , with possibly some of the best meals I have had in a long time. The pricing is also very reasonable.

Our friends brought us here for Tapas just after the new year.
Nice atmosphere and a pretty good view from the upstairs balcony looking out towards the Ocean, just a shame about the building opposite.
Service was a tad slow for our liking, especially in taking our drinks order first but the food was very good indeed.
The calamari and prawns were excellent and the salad I had was very good.
I would come back here again and can recommend.

Wood-Fire kitchen Steakhouse
Visited this spot and was surprised to learn that it had been open for about 4 years.Informal, cozy, friendly owners and real wood flamed cooked meats at realistic prices....no gas flames used on this meat, thankfully! One gets what one pays for and the quality of the meat selection is superb, supported by a fairly large wine selection,or for a small fee you can take your own.
Highly recommended, the best steak that I have eaten for a long time and will definately be returning regularly!

We're about good food, and good people. We make everything ourselves, bases are slow fermented daily to create an unique flavour, we hand-roll the pasta everyday, the vinaigrette, desserts, ice-cream is all made by us...and we only use fresh local produce.
Their pasta is absolutely excellent! Service is awesome and the other food on the menu is scrumptious! There is a variety of different wood fired pizzas, with various toppings!

Such a lovely surprise, coffee was delicious and the breakfast fresh and great quality. Good portions. The little bottle of chutney preserve was spot on. Staff very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back soon.
