Nice view of the water with boat activity. Eat inside or in an enclosed screened area with a great view. Prompt service with pleasant wait staff. Pricey but large portions, also side salads are plentiful. Two days in a row, although they had french fries, they didn't have baked potatoes? Storage on potatoes?? Not much here as far as an entrée for vegetarians or vegans - maybe choose 3 side veggies or get the spaghetti?

I stop by this Tropical Smoothie very often because it has a drive thru, which makes it very convenient to grab lunch and dinner. They have a great smoothie selection and I actually really like their sandwiches and wraps, even preferring them over the smoothies. The only things I don't like about this particular Tropical Smoothie is that service can be slow, but I will say that the drive thru goes much faster, so if you don't need to sit down and eat, it's the better choice. Also, as I stated above, I like their food a lot, and adding a smoothie to a sandwich and side makes for more calories than I need. I don't like that they always try to push the smoothies on you when you are just wanting something else. Overall, it's probably the healthiest quick(er) option in the area, and all of the choices are good so it will stay on my list of weekly visits.

So tasty, tiny and wonderful. Great service and a wonderful little gem, don't want it to get too popular as it is only approx 20 seats! Have done lunch twice (in two weeks) with dinner brought home for husband. Looking forward to having dinner there soon!

Mexican restaurant located in a strip mall. Very clean, bright and cheerful Spanish décor. Lunch is always a favorite because it's buffet, so you can get in and out on your schedule. Staff are pleasant. However, I was very disappointed on vegetarian options on their entree bar. Yes, they have a small salad bar, but when you're paying the same as meat eaters, you're left with a taco shell w/beans & rice. I would have liked to have seen at least a combo of grilled onions/peppers/mushrooms offered on the bar. However, everything offered was filled with chicken or beef.

Anna's is one of favorite Italian restaurants. The pissa is handmade, hand tossed with homemade sauce. The sausage is a dicey enough to give the pizza a wonderful flavor. The are many difference sizes or slices of pizza you can choose from. I would also recommend the spaghetti and meatballs. I love the Italian bread that comes with the spegghetti. This is nice restaurant for couples and families.

Our large menu features local seafood, chicken and steak entrees, handmade burgers, unique Italian dishes, overstuffed sandwiches, kid friendly foods, munchies, fresh soups and salads, extensive, wine list and a relaxed separate bar area for socializing. Our outdoor patio offers a different dining experience while utilizing the same menus as the dining room and the bar "Second Street is a Casual Upscale Restaurant Marked by a menu full of unique and delicious culinary twists, stunning decor throughout, a comfortable atmosphere and a fresh upscale vibe unmatched in Newport News." Upscale casual without being "Uppity"
We ordered a variety of appetizers; tuna with three different sauces, Thai fired shrimp, crab melt with homemade potato chips, grill shrimp skewers with beans. I ordered the grill pork with collard greens and sweet potato mash. My entire dish was excellent prepared the pork was a medium well with great grill taste. The atmosphere is really nice and a lot of tables, a private dinning room. I will recommend this restaurant and visit again in the near future.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Steak is always good, but I ordered a combination dinner with ribs, and was pleasantly surprised how good the were. Outer part of the ribs had the perfect amount of 'crunch', and were very meaty. Waiter was excellent; quick service and personable.

The food was amazing. This was my first day in town and I looked up the restaurant. When we got there, the first waitress stated the beers were $1. They were out of the normal so they were doing Bud Light. We ordered beers and our food. We got a 2nd waitress who also stated beers were $1. And a 3rd waitress who said the same. When we paid the bill, not only were the beer not $1, but some were $3.75 and bottles were $5. Annoying. And I won't be returning.

Local restaurant known for their subs and salads. Salad is very unique especially with their homemade house dressing. Only issue is the prices are a little high for the house salad (small is close to $5 with tax). Restaurant is very clean but decor is old and dated.
