The restaurant serves traditional Tuscan cooking: meat, mushrooms and home-made pasta. House specialities include traditional entrées, home-made main courses, prime quality meats and Tuscan types of cold pork meat such as ham, salami, finocchiona (fennel flavoured salami) and a wide variety of cheese and desserts. Roberta personally prepares delicious desserts such as pannacotta (creamy sugary pudding) with almonds and pine kernels and black and white chocolate mousse.

The restaurant has the traditional style of a Tuscan country house.
In spring and summer guests can enjoy the lunch and dinner in the panoramic Terrace and the garden.

Moreover we have home-made gluten-free dishes for coeliacs. Had lunch and we decided to have dinner as well. For us the setting and location as well as the food served made it a nice place.
The scalloping with lemon sauce was great and the Fillet tender and cooked as ordered. The wine we choose perfect for only 13.50 a bottle. but the desserts ... Pistache Ice superb and the Pannocatta heavenly. It was pretty busy but attentive service and a place to recommend .

If you're ever in the Casentino area of Tuscany, this restaurant deserves a detour, because you will have a great time there. Alberto's cooking and service is second to none and the wine list is very good.
Don't get me started on the food. Even the simplest of dishes was delicately presented, and very, very good. Your taste buds will love it, and the fact that we went back for more- twice, should tell ypu all you need to know.

It is always a wonderful visit to the old walled village of Poppi to take in the views and perhaps a festa. This is an excellent choice for dinner. The food is wonderfully presented, there is an excellent wine selection and the service is top notch

Modern and familiar restaurant, managed with competence and passion by Cesare and Barbara.Placed in Soci country heart, the restaurant is intimate and reserved, with wide and luminous glass windows and a big outside courtyard. To few minutes of car from Poppi, one of the villages more beautiful of Italy and the Camaldoli Monastery.Cured the multilingual welcome and the careful and kind service very much. The menu, from the appetizers, to the wide choice of home-made Pasta that dominates the scene together with the stewed meat preparations and with the grilled meat, it always has a Tuscan mark with tasty creative raids to the search for the good quality and following the rhythm of the seasons elsewhere. To taste the mixed Crostini with Pappa al pomodoro, the ravioli of pecorino cheese with reduction of cabernet, Scottiglia and the Tagliata of beef with rocket and Potatoes In Tecia. To complete a big cake variety strictly home-made. Assorted the wine list well regional and of Italy.
At La Vite, you are guaranteed a good time. we were there on a weekday, and is was quite busy. We had booked in advance, so no problem there. The guests were a mix of Italians and foreigners, and everyone was obviously enjoying their meal, groups of 10+ as well as couples. The staff were friendly and had good timing for when to come to your table and when to leave us alone. Very pleasant. The food was excellent. The price was fair. The chef came into the restaurant to say hi and to ask everyone if they were happy, This is always a good sign. Altogether a great meal in a lovely atmosphere.

The family's love and passion for the food, and what they do, radiates, and illuminates this beautiful rustic space. The food is iridescently fresh, with spot-on execution, and modern plating of traditional recipes. The family is warm, inviting and engaging. I was invited to meet...Moreé stato un piacere ospitarvi siete delle persone meravigliose,a presto grazie Silvana

This place is well known for its great pizzas, pastas and cheerful stuff. Located in a very quiet place, among the trees of Casentino, and you will also be able to walk around this area

We had dinner at Il Porto with 5 people. We ordered many different dishes, and they were all well prepared, fresh and tasty. The service was very attentive, but then, it was a quiet night (during the week, after peak season). There is a huge parking lot, so that's handy. The restaurant is also easy to find, you can see it from the main road from Poppi to Bibbiena (and Arezzo if you keep going). If you eat outside, you can sometimes hear the traffic, which is not very ideal. We would go back for the food, which comes at a fair price too. So i'd recommend Osteria Il Porto for those who want to taste good authentic Tuscan cuisine.

We visit Poppi pretty regularly and always make time to visit Atlantic Oil. The place had a real buzz about it, usually bustling with mostly locals which I always think is a great sign.
The food is really good and the value is incredible.
Don't miss put if you are in the area

We had one of the best meals in all the many years we have been coming to Tuscany ( and staying several weeks each summer) The food was absolutely delicious including selection of 5 different fresh home made breads, prosecco to start, generous amuse bouche, all presented with gracious hospitality and warmth, any request met with eagerness to please. The pici with lobster was wonderful as were the beef medallions, melt in your mouth tender. Excellent selection of wine, home made ice cream, all reasonably priced. Can highly recommend for lunch or dinner or Sunday breakfast and definitely for all special occasions. Worth noting also this lovely village is very charming, beautiful views of the wild and wooly Casentino and with warm welcoming people. Easy drive from within Casentino area.
