In the land of castles , Lunigiana , Tuscany , in a typical ancient village , we have recovered a thousand year old stone building which is now used as a B & B . 3 spacious rooms with bathroom and breakfast with local products characterize the structure surrounded by the peaceful green Valdantena but not far from many other popular holiday destinations : 5 Terre , Versilia etc. The place is ideal for those who aspire to a holiday in touch with nature : walks in lush forests , and along the traditional route of the Via Francigena , in season copious collection of fragrant porcini mushrooms , fish-filled rivers with crystal clear waters . The daily cost of your stay is 35 € / person. Optional breakfast ( cheese and salami , apple pie and buccellati , jams , honey, fruit juices , muesli , tea, coffee, milk , yogurt , fresh fruit )€ 5.
Arriving damp and late in the day after traversing the Cisa Pass and almost running down the hills to escape an imminent thunder storm, I was made very welcome and settled into my extremely comfortable and well appointed room. Dinner was home cooked and delicious, the bed very comfortable and after sleeping soundly, the breakfast was superb! This stay was a highlight of my journey to Rome, and I very highly commend it.

My wife and I stopped here for a night while travelling through the area. The hotel staff were all very friendly, and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious, as well as being tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. The location is quiet and we had a really good night's sleep. Breakfast (included in our rate) was a large buffet with a very good range of choice. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

"Ai Chiosi" B&B is in Pontremoli, a small town situated between the Magra and Verde rivers in the north of Tuscany (Lunigiana). Castles, middle-ages villages, ancient churches and 17 th century, inside painted, palaces are some of the outstanding features of the area. Located in a quiet country atmosphere, just 10 minutes walk from the town centre, "Ai Chiosi" B&B consists of two recently restored ancient manor houses, separated by a 300 square metres stone paved patio and surrounded by 3 hectares of farmland. Between the two farm houses there is the availability of a large open space in the green of nature, where it is possible to stay in relax, of a suitable area for the entertainment of children and of a reserved parking. The rooms, with the private bathroom, have inside stone details and wooden beams. They are furnished in simple, but comfortable and pleasant manner. The breakfast is served at ground floor in a tavern, furnished with ancient country tools and machinery for making wine and flours.
We stayed for a few nights in october. Pontremoli as a place is delightful and Ai Chiosi was just the right place to stay. We had a self catering room with a bed on a mezzanine which was just right ofr the pair of us. A very quiet site, not too far from town with no passing traffic meant that we could happly walk in for a meal or a dink and not be disturbed at night. For a quiet night, it's an utterly dleightful place to go with lovely, kind owners.

Dieci e lode!!!!!

We walked the Via Francigena from Passo de Cisa and after 20+ hilly kilometers it was heaven to check in at Luchetti Ferrari. The place is beautifully renovated, with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. Breakfast consisted of local products, many made by our hostess Francesca. We stayed two nights and left the farm well rested and well fed. Thanks for the hospitality and help from two Norwegian pilgrims, Svein and Karen!

We spent here a 3 days weekend with our two children and my parents. Throughout the stay we have really appreciated the calm of the countryard, the outside terrace, the silence and the delicious cuisine of Sabrina. The dinners on the terrace have been really good! From the home made bread with ancient cereals, to local Testaroli and delicious pesto, to typical Torta agli Erbi, Risotto con zucchine and omelette with vegetables, all was made with the vegetables of the garden under our eyes. The breakfast was amazing with many different cakes and biscuits, jams and fruits. Sabrina was able to indicate a nice walk for us to do to discover the beautiful woods of the region. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy local cuisine made with special attention to ingredients. Thanks for welcoming us and hope to come back soon.
