We tried a few places over several days in and around Yaremche and this place was, by a long way, the best place in terms of food quality and atmosphere. The fish in particular (trout, carp, mackerel - grilled or fried) was pretty good value by Ukrainian standards. I had an outstanding creation consisting of a chicken fillet covered in a deruny mixture, lightly fried and topped with a chanterelle sauce. Good selection of wines and other drinks. I recommend booking as it gets busy in the evening at least in season. Oh - and a I really appreciated them safe-keeping my wallet when I accidentally left it in the restaurant. They called to let me know that they had it.

The most popular dishes of Asian cuisine: marbled beef steaks and dry aged beef steaks, pad thai and soba noodles, rice on WOK, asian soups, Nikkei sushi, Beijing duck, lobsters and oysters.
A nice restaurant ( are very few in Bukovel) , the personal speaks english . We eat steak, a wok with veal and my daughter eat chicken with potatoes- children menu. All very good and the price was excellent !

After vising Pizzeria Felichita I can see why this place is ranked Number 1 among restaurants in Bukovel. Unexpectedly good Italian food in the middle of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. We had freshly made mozzarella with tomatoes (delicious!) and oven-baked four-cheese pizza with extra tomatoes, basilic, and onions (yummy!). Also try Jasmine Boom cocktail. My only advice is please serve ciabatta warm. It tastes much better hot than cold
Very good service. All waitresses, waiters, administrators are nice, polite, and attentive. But special thanks goes to Ulyana! She is the best. The Felichita management should give her a bonus!

Cheerful Gutsul pub located in the heart of the Ukrainian Carpathians, near the ski resort Bukovel. Cheerful Gutsul combines traditional comfort of Carpathian "kolyba", real pub with live music and a bar. It offers a wide variety of Hutsul, Ukrainian and European cuisine as well as dishes on the grill and pub menu.

Super expensive! Restaurant prices in canteen , just because it's in he very heart of Bukovel, food portions are tiny , beer is only in bottles , better places for lunch can be found around :)

Typical ukrainian place, but of average level. Could be visit in low season when the choice of other places is poor. Or if you need budget dinner of not bad quality.

Kurin is well located in the centre of Bukovel. For residents of the wooden chalets of Hotel Bukovel it is right on your doorstep. We started with the beetroot vianaigrette and moved on to hot mushroom broth with noodles. The waiter offered some freshly ground pepper for the soup which really gave it a kick. Main course was banosh with mushrooms. Banosh is THE local regional food of the Carpathians. It is made from maize - think of yellow creamy savoury oatmeal. The meal was washed down with excellent mulled wine - also available with an extra shot of Jagermeister. We also enjoyed Uzvar drink made from dried fruits and "mors" - Cranberry compote. The waiter was very helpful. Our beat meal ever in Bukovel and we will come back again !

Medvezha Hora or Bear Mountain is another beautifully appointed Hutsul-style wood and craftwork place to eat, with a swan pond across the lane and places to sit outside in good weather. Its food offerings are traditional Hutsul, but not distinguished enough for the price difference with other kolybas (inns). The service is good and sometimes there is live music.
