Reviewed By TravelG392Newly renovated Holiday Inn right by the US/Canada border in Sarnia. Its also very close to the casino which is just down the street. Room was large, clean and accommodating. Internet worked good and there was lots of food and drink available in the morning for a continental breakfast

Reviewed By BRUCE MThis recently renovated hotel, is part way through an extensive renovation. We were in the 5 story tower. A nice spacious room. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a lot of money spent on it. A walk in shower with lovely glass shower doors. Sink/vanity is beautiful with a well lit mirror. The room comes equipped with a fridge, microwave, and Keruig coffee machine. I have two complaints about the room. There is no place / rack to lay your luggage on. You have to lay it on the floor. Lastly , places to plug your electronic devices at the bed side table are non existent. there are two outlets beside the desk. This must be corrected, a huge oversight on there part. Hotel is located beside the 402, so you do here some traffic noise. Ask for room on the other side.

Reviewed By Ed RWhen i stayed here for a few weeks in the summer of 2021 I was a little worried about the place being so close to the highway, noise was NO problem, i could not hear a thing in my room. I loved the room, the walk in shower was fantastic, the lighting was great and the counter was big and overall it was not cramped like some hotel bathrooms. I liked the Kuerig coffee makers and the desk was really cool with the under counter lighting, I loved this room! In the morning i would come down and get a bag of breakfast which was great, yogurt, breakfast sandwich, juice, fruit. However....my back hated the mattress and when i inquired about anything that could be done i was told " all the mattresses are the same " and the silence that followed seemed to say to me " tough luck bud, we can't help you ". It was a sad moment, right up until that moment i was loving this place. If you like firm mattresses this is the place for you! Clean, new, great rates, nice rooms, I would recommend this place to a friend.

The hair dryer didn't work and coming down the hall to the room the hall just reeked of cigarette smoke. Disappointed in the "hot buffet" diy waffles, the coffee was cold and the floor was dirty. Even for the senior rate, I don't think I would stay there again.

Poor Experience
Reviewed By jasonamytubiaOur room was not clean, very dark, complimentary breakfast was not offered everyday (which was not on the website) and the breakfast we did get the 1 day we could did not taste good at all and was not kid friendly. Our room was changed by staff when we arrived (downgraded) with no price change.
