Reviewed By 44ascotabroadI’m just home from a great holiday in Split/Podstrana. I must admit I was a little sceptical about this hotel as there were no recent reviews however as soon as we arrived I was put at ease! Our room was very spacious and modern. In the online images the pool looks rather small however it was perfect for us and although there was only 6 sun loungers we never had an issue at getting a bed (group of 3). You can pay to use the next door hotel facilities however it’s around £30 a day. The beach is a 2 min walk from the hotel but it is pebbles so bring water shoes. We dined in Podstana twice on the beach along to the left and one of our favourite restaurants of the holiday was located there (Kuzina). Our room was cleaned daily which was fab - they provide you with clean towels if you need them. We had breakfast included which consisted of a small buffet (hot and cold) every morning running from 7am-10am which was ideal and it had plenty of choice. We used the local bus which runs every 30mins from a bus stop only a 2 min walk from the hotel (number 60) or Ubers which were much cheaper than taxis every day to get in and out of Split which were both so simple to use. Worked out around £1.40 for a single to Split on the bus and they run until 12.30am. Would definitely return a great holiday and location!

Honeymoon

I was booking for a honeymoon destination after me and my husband had gotten married during covid but then luckily managed to have the wedding blessing we had dreamed of last week. We had never been to Croatia before so didn't know the area but omg were we impressed. The apartment is out of the way so you don't hear the roads, but so close to the beach it doesn't even take 5 minutes to get there. You have the sun all day in our apartment so much so that you get the sunset in the evening. There was everything we needed, the comfiest bed, good shower, microwave for that left over pizza and sun loungers for when you didn't want to go to the beach. The landlady even let us stay almost an extra day due to flight times (we chose to pay extra - there was no request!!!) We are already planning our next trip and will 100% stay here again. Thank you Alita for everything and your generosity. We had the best honeymoon.

Recently renewed apartments directly on the beach. Apartments Zanic occupies a special place in tourism in Central Dalmatia. Situated in Podstrana, 8 kilometers from the city of Split, located on the Adriatic coast, with beautiful sea view to Dalmatian islands Brač, Hvar and Šolta and the greatest sundown you've ever seen. Apartments Zanic consists of 5 apartments and 2 rooms , with the private beach guarded parking lot and big terrace. Each apartment has satellite TV,free WI-FI, air condition, balcony and bathroom. On a large common terrace it is possible to have breakfast or enjoy the beautiful view. Friendly hosts are always there for you. Apartments are equiped with the small kitchens with all appliances you may need.
Much better than a hotel
Reviewed By KierRoeThis place is a real gem. A very short car or bus journey from split and you have an apartment that literally has a private beach at your doorstep. Danijela is lovely and kind and really goes above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after. We had an amazing time and it’s a perfect location for travelling around.

Perfect house for friends or family
Reviewed By AndrewR794Thank you so much for Joško and his family for making us feel so welcome. We stayed here with 13 people and it was perfect. Loads of space, great facilities, indoor and outdoor barbecue. Getting into split is easy with a taxi or Uber and there is places to eat and drink nearby.

Reviewed By PhoLove2Amazing experience, the rooms were clean and beautiful, the wellness area (there is an inside pool with integrated whirlpool, sauna, outside pool) was amazing and the host even let us use it longer on the first day of our stay. They have bikes and washing machines which you can use. All these options are free of charge during your stay. There are enough parking lots. The breakfast was ok, there were a lot of options. We visited during Covid and it felt safe at all times We loved it and will definitely come back!!!!

Good base for exploring
Reviewed By BarnseySJB3 of us stayed in the garden apartment with 1 on the sofa bed. Very welcoming staff on arrival. A good base if you have a car and intend to explore further afield as we did. Spilt 15-20 mins to ferry terminal; Omis 25 mins (rafting) and Brela beach a must in 1 hour. Local beaches are ok (you have to cross the main road) and 10-15 minutes walk. Beach side bars and cafes great for watching the sunset. Garden is private; all shade but flanked on both sides by a road serving other apartments on the hillside. Outside kitchenette useful. Apartment clean, modern and reasonably equipped. We didn’t use the (very small) pool...

The One Resort offers 7 suites, a beautiful garden with deckchairsand a large outdoor space. The property includes a sauna, a gym and an outdoor pool with massage. The property also provides outdoor activities and massage at an addittional cost. The apartments are equipped with high quality beds and linens, free WIFI, satellite TV, air conditioning, a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, electric water cooker and an expresso machine. Each apartment has its own bathroom equipped with shower, hairdryer, toiletries and a washing machine.

Reviewed By staffistiWe really enjoyed of our holiday in this hotel. The hotel's host were helpfull and gave us tips where to go and how to use public transport. Hotel was really clean and it was like a home, there was everything you might need in your holiday (Washing machine, fruits, kitchen). Pool area was also nice. I really recommended to choose this hotel. It takes only 30 min to go in split by bus.

Reviewed By RussoCapanWe had a wonderful time in Croatia. We self driven from the North to the South, stopping at 6 major areas. From Pula to Dubrovnik. Our favourite stay was in Podstrana at Villa Miljak. Lovely apartments, gorgeous pool and the sunsets are the best. This is a must stay.

Holiday in San Marian apartments (September 2021)
Reviewed By Wolffi72I would like here and now to share my totally negative opinion and impression of my 3 weeks-stay in San Marian... In the first place: no contact with the apartments' anonymous owner who ignored all my requests on the service improvement(( Secondly, the total negligence and breaking of hygiene regulations, especially regarding the actual COVID-19 situation (( no cleaning service at all!! Bed linen was changed only once in these 3 weeks... The second change only after a strong request and for the last 2 days of my holiday!! One more important detail: a "cleaning lady" who changed the towels once (by the way, with a little knowledge of English and came without a mouth-and nose - protection mask) left the apartment unattended, without locking! Thirdly, the kitchen with a little amount of dishes, the exhaust-air hood and lighting out of service! Poor Internet - connection.. Especially on the balcony.. The safe and wall-mounted clock were also out of order, no cloth-drying rack within 10 days, clothes washing during 3 weeks was absolutely impossible! (( Above all, the premises of San Marian require much more care (the related photos will be attached) To sum up, it may said - I cannot recommend San Marian Apartments as a holiday accommodation (
