We live just a few minutes away from Jubilee and have noticed the frequently full parking lot, read some reviews and checked it out recently for breakfast. Frankly, I have no idea why the parking lot was full. Obviously, a lot of people disagree because it was. Anyway, unremarkable breakfast on a one-time-and-done-visit.

Family owned and operated, Mi Casa Restaurant has been serving the best Latin Cuisine in the Poconos since 2007. Here you can find well-known South American plates like Pernil, Bandeja, Bisteck Encebollado, and much more. We also serve authentic Mexican plates like Enchililadas, Fajitas, and more. We welcome you to try a taste of South and Central American Cuisine without ever leaving the country. Our menu is also available for take-out, you can come in or call ahead of time so it will be ready when you arrive. A catering menu is available for your party or event needs.
Hidden from sight from the main drag, this is an unadorned gem of a restaurant with kind and gracious waitresses.
“Standing room only” on a weekend waiting for a table the first time I was there, solo, I sat at the small, busy counter bar as an alternative to waiting for seating in this relatively small restaurant with tables and booths. Late, and during the week, with my partner, seating was more readily available.
The food is freshly and quickly prepared in generous and filling proportions. Loved the sweet plantains.

This was a tasty twist on the standard mojito, and it was served in a tall hurricane-style glass. The bartender, Bridgette, was very helpful and friendly.

I never thought I'd rave so much about a simple pizza joint, but while the location and decor is simple, the food is, simply, outrageously good. The pizza crusts were perfect, the chicken parm was perfect, and oh my God, the garlic knots - I never knew garlic knots could taste so good!!! We drove less than 5 minutes from Kalahari resorts to go there for dinner - I'd be willing to travel an hour for those garlic knots alone! Oh, and it's dirt cheap, too.

We loved this place! First of all, our daughter is vegan and they have 24 flavors of non-dairy soft serve to choose from. She is thinking of driving 1 hour with a friend just to go back for more! Way to go for serving such...MoreThank you so much for the wondful review. We are in the process of opening a second location in Delaware County "Ridley Township". My husband and I were driving through the
Poconos and wanted to find a unique place to stop for lunch... definitely found it! The environment is a lot of fun - tables are surrounded by vintage wallpapers, small antique gifts for sale, window dressings, etc... we even had an astrology book placed at our table.
Recommend getting a hot chocolate or fresh flavored coffee (we had chocolate raspberry). It’s served in a giant mug and you can get it loaded with with whipped cream & syrup too.

Family run local restaurant is a local gem. Comfortable seating for dinner even if few others are there. Most locals take food to-go for that great thin crust pizza. We like the antipasto to-go also. Gyros are fresh and yummy.

This classic American chophouse menu offers sumptuous culinary delights – including lobster claw and jumbo lump crab meat as well as a 16 oz. dry-aged porterhouse. Other entrees include half crispy duck and buttery grouper. If you’re looking for something casual we have several options from lobster wraps and cheeseburgers to entree salads. Whether you’re looking for a night of fine dining or a casual meal to enjoy; we look forward to serving you.
I know everyone gives this place glowing reviews, but I beg to differ. They have high end prices with a commonplace setting. No table clothes, glasses turned upside down right on the bare table, it's very loud, there was a spill over from happy hour, plus several unhappy children...hardly a place for a romantic dinner for two. The waitress did not anticipate our needs. The food was good (braised short ribs and crab cake) but not with the price tag, imo. I'm not sure if there is a quiet section in the place, but I would recommend you ask for one.

Breakfast and lunch served all day
Visiting the area for a family wedding, we headed to the Chat N Chew for breakfast Sunday morning. When we arrived at the nondescript store front diner, they were experiencing a brisk local business, so our large group of 13 had to wait for a table. Once seated, coffee and tea were promptly served and orders taken. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only, and like all diners, breakfast is always available. The breakfast menu was extensive and included the regular eggs, pancakes and waffles. The interior is a mix of tables and booths with an eclectic collection of wall plaques for decoration. The food was hot, with ample portions, and just as ordered. Everyone was pleased with their meal and several took doggie bags home as they were unable to finish their servings. We will return to the Chat-n-Chew when we are next in the area.

In 1984, Priscilla Moore, began making cheesecakes in her home near the village of Canadensis in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. The idea dawned on her to convince local chef's at resorts and restaurants to try her product. And a Business was born! After a few months a retail outlet opened on route 390 in Mountainhome, Pa. In just one year the overwhelming response was so much that they decided to expand to the current location on route 611 in Swiftwater. By 1994 she added a 2,400 square foot warehouse and more than doubled the original size of the baking and retail space. The Pocono Cheesecake Factory became one of the Must Try attractions in the Poconos. In 2007, Priscilla decided to ask her great Friends Al and Carole Johnson to carry on the tradition of uncompromising Quality and Freshness, supporting local farms sourcing our milk and cheese, and a customer experience that created the success to begin with.
I guess the good taste is the best rating, but the store appears unkempt and there is no indoor seating to sample your sweets there. Road construction at the present time causes traffic problems in the area, this too will pass. Wish they gave you the fruit topping in a separate container, then you could put it on the cheesecake when you eat it.
