I was not at all impressed with this Starbucks. The service was nothing special and not very welcoming or friendly. There were a lot of crumbs and dust very visible under furniture. This not somewhere I would care to stop at again.

We really enjoyed our stop here! Loved the flavors and the staff allowed tastes before the big decision of which to choose. All four of us found a flavor we enjoyed. I was impressed with the number of flavors and the amount I would have like to eat! Servings were a little too big to manage but I know people like to get a lot for their money. Hope to come back on another road trip!

I love bagels, and prefer Big Apple Bagels over any other chain. I love my bagels soft and fresh. Great service, fast preparation for a made-to-order menu, clean restaurant, so many choices (muffins, bagels, bagel sandwiches in breakfast and lunch/dinner styles, smoothies, etc.). Large parking lot. Walking distance from the Comfort Inn...just two parking lots away.

Take your average chain restaurant...Now take the exact opposite of that.
Been here several times. Normally great food, drinks and service. Recently had a newer server that gave us all the wrong food and was pretty slow but that will happen once in a while. We will still go back.

What a pleasure - fresh and local ingredients, excellently prepared and beautifully presented. The menu changes daily, with today's date printed on the top - this allows the chefs to be creative with local produce. What a pleasure to graze among familiar dishes with a local and very creative twist - the fried green tomatoes with remoulade and local corn were amazing. As was the beet salad. St Christian's Bistro you will encounter cuisine as opposed to food. Most dishes are suitable for sharing.

If you are a sour ale fan, like me, this is a place that you should not miss while in central Wisconsin.
Although being small, O'so brewery is proud to produce a lot of varieties of sour ales, both kettle sour and barrel sour. The staff and bartenders here are friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to educate patrons of the make of sour ales and to share their insights on the different notes of each different beers they produce. So, even if you are not familiar with sour, give yourself a try to experience a totally different tone of beer other than IPA, stout, and lager.
Definitely a must visit!

Sky Club is a fun place for an old-school supper club experience, although the food and service are a little lacking. We had the escargot appetizer, which was not very good ... they'd be better off sticking to a more traditional version instead of including mushrooms. Our Bo Jackson steak was very good, but our walleye was very bony. We tried a couple old fashioneds since they're quite proud of them, and they were very tasty (and just $5 apiece). We even bought a bottle of old fashioned mix to take home.

My wife and I stopped at the Paradise Restaurant and Bar (more restaurant than bar) in Plover Wisconsin for lunch on our way ho me from a trip up North. I would characterize the ambience at the Paradise as early American clutter! The atmosphere is typical family restaurant booth/dining tables with the walls covered in various and assorted trinkets. But, the food and service is fabulous.
I have been to the Paradise. As we were seating ourselves, I overheard the server ask another table if they wanted a box for their leftovers. I piped up and said yes. The server gave me a sassy look and said I could not order a box before I ordered my food. But, I knew I would not be able to finish my meal and would need a box.
I ordered one of the specials of the day - A country steak sandwich with french fries. The sandwich was a generous country fried slab of thinly breaded steak perfectly fried so the meat was still juicy and tender. The large slice of onion, fresh tomato and lettuce really complimented the meat. The whole sandwich was “fall off the bun” huge. The Paradise fries are as good as I have had anywhere. The large order of fries were crispy on the outside, but soft and tender on the inside. There were more fries than I could eat comfortably. Between the left over sandwich and fries I needed a to go box, just I had predicted.
My wife ordered the Rueben sandwich. She selected the chicken soup rather than the fries. The soup was tastey packed with large chunks of chicken and veggies. If anything, her sandwich was actually larger than mine. The pieces of succulent corned beef were piled high (a good 1.5” tall) and overflowed the bun. The meat was juicy and flavorful.
Throughout the meal, our server checked back frequently to ensure that everything was OK and provided a fun repartee throughout the meal. The dining area and restrooms were spotlessly clean.
Again, the Paradise does not have the ambiance of other, higher priced restaurants. But, you cannot eat the ambiance!! What you get at the Paradise is a large quantity of very good food provided with a smile and cheerful service. It is a great stop for a good meal when in the Plover area. Just be sure to remember to ask for your take home box.

Ask for the authentic Chinese menu when you arrive and you won't be disappointed. Adrien (Adrian?) our server had a hand in designing the menu and it certainly is filled with delicious options! The spicy sour soup had a perfect amount of tang and heat, the numbing and hot chicken had great depth of flavor, and not too much Szechuan peppercorn if heat isn't your thing. Shui zhu beef and Szechuan string bean were equally stunners. Highly recommended.
