In a magic corner of your mind, there is a place where the sun always shines and worldly cares melt as rapidly as ice-cream cones on hot sand. "LM in Plett" is the gateway to that happy land! Our aim is to satisfy you with outstanding service, mouth-water
5 of us went here for lunch and had a nice meal. We went there for the ribs as we were told they were fantastic. The two men had them and really enjoyed them. The rest of us all ordered different items and I had a burger. The warm bread they brought while we waited for our meal was appreciated as we were all quite hungry.

Chez Laurent serves classic French country side dishes, served in a cosy and warm homely atmosphere. In winter a lovely fireplace with devine food to warm your inner being. The "Far Side" pub is fully licensed for your convenience. Bon appetit!!!
Chez Laurent has moved to Nothandos Backpackers. When you book, get directions. Very simple rustic place to eat. Laurent has a few wines and soft drinks to purchase. I think he has beers as well.No bring your own! Wine by the glass very inexpensive.Menu limited and Laurent is famous for his Fillet Pepper Steak and shoestring chips and to finish his creme brulee. Laurent is friendly and fun and his staff are very sweet. The little restaurant is small enough so that all the visitors end up talking to each other in front of a lovely fire enjoying their delicious food at reasonable prices. A very interesting experience!!

We stopped at the Corner Bistro with no particular expectation. Simply because on a Sunday afternoon not much was opened. And Oh my God. Best pizza ever. Huge! But so so thin. It was delectable. Same with the home made apple and almond cake. Our waiter Zain was a lovely attentive young man and the owners, a delightful German couple, even came to talk to us and asked if we liked the pizze. Clearly! Our plates were empty. The owner and chef imports his flour from Italy no less. Everything was just lovely down to the mini amaretto biscuit with our coffee.

We stayed 4 nights at Kurland (see separate reviews for the hotel restaurant and hotel per se) and ate lunch here one day.Excellent carpaccio and insalata Caprese washed down with a very quaffable house rose for about £30 - erring on the pricey.Katarina's has no fewer than six open fireplaces including two essentially outside that add atmosphere (but sometimes too much smoke) but at least this keeps the many flies away. These are attracted by the hundreds of horses grazing nearby away NB Kurland is a polo ground with a cafe, restaurant and hotel attached.A very pleasant lunch.

We went here for my husbandâs birthday and it was just wonderful. Weâd been there a few years previously for our anniversary. Beautiful grounds and gardens, several options for dining, a pool, bikes to rent and good walking. The cottages are so lovely! They also made it very special for us when I pre-advised them that it was my husbandâs birthday. It was just a wonderful stay and we will definitely return!Dear cids432.Thank you for taking the time to write your lovely review. We were happy to have you back with us to celebrate your husbands birthday. Hopefully you will return for another special occasion! We very much look forward to seeing you again.Warm regardsKaren

This is a great restaurant situated outside of Plettenberg Bay. It has a good menu offering small plates to share as starters, small and large salads and a fair choice of main courses. We shared the arancini and gravlax as starters, had a small salad to share (which was a good size) and then had the lamb curry and duck confit. We finished with the peach malva ( there was only one small slice of peach though). The food was cooked really well, was tasty and nicely presented. The staff were efficient and friendly. A lovely experience.Dear KarenRobS,Thank you for your wonderful comments regarding your dining experience at Zinzi. The small plates have been a big hit with many diners!Looking forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future,RegardsJulie Smith
