I have visited this restaurant several times. Two days ago was my last visit. Try corvina and salsa de camaron. You won't be disappointed. Ceviche is also good but not the best.
There are few sea food restaurants in Playas were you can pay with credit card. Well, this is one of them. Nothing fancy, but good enough to get you out of the typical restaurant full of tourists.

My wife and I had been meaning to go to check out this restaurant for some time now, so this evening (June 12th, 2015) we did.
We arrived at 19:00 ( was dark since the sunsets between 18:00/18:30). There were at least 3 bug zappers that we could see, with one of them right next to our table.
Each of them was making a snapping sound on almost a constant basis and I thought that there sure were a lot of mosquitoes, but on looking more closely, we saw that there were at least 4 crickets around the unit closest to us. Since they were attracted to the light, they'd crawl in and get zapped, but the units didn't seem strong enough to kill them, so they kept moving around and getting repeatedly zapped.
We had beer and wine and ordered our food - My wife ordered the Langoustines and I ordered the Rice and shrimp. To be honest, the food was standard at best - my wife tasted and disliked the rice and shrimp. I didn't try the Langoustines.
We were with another couple and, as we were eating and chatting, I looked across the table and saw a cricket jump over the head of one of our dinner companions.
By this time the number of crickets was growing exponentially, so one of the ladies took off her shoe and started squashing the crickets - not very appetizing, but necessary to try get the cricket population under control.
That strategy didn't work for long and it reached the point where three of us had crickets on various parts of our body multiple times.
Aside from the zappers, management didn't really seem to be making any effort to get rid of the crickets.
So, for 40% more than it usually cost us to go to KasKas, we got sub-standard to standard food with a bunch of crickets thrown in for fun and games.
I'm generally fairly flexible and forgiving when it comes to restaurants, but this really has to be the worst experience I've had in one thus far.
I've gotten better food at the local restaurants that line the beach (where the prices are much lower).
The waitress was pleasant and helpful, but unfortunately this was offset by the food and the crickets.
I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

A house that is an art workshop or vice versa ; UN highest which is a house , this appears to be the intention of the painter Hector Ramirez .
Un establecimiento nuevo y pequeño, combina piezas de arte y una gastronomía española,la mayoría de su oferta es sobre esa tendencia, una nueva opción que te ofrece en un cantón turístico.

T & B is located immediately around the corner from our Hostal Promenade . NO NESCAFÉ powder disguising itself as Coffee have crossed the threshold of this lovely place in Playas. We went for the breakfast and of course the REAL Coffee. Yummy from start to finish and Tom is a Superb Host. This location is a great meeting place and when Tom asked where are you from.. What 'Newfoundland '... We were off and running. "Do you know a Fred from NFLD?". Well I know quite a few Freds'.. He shows me a pic from his extensive Facebook page and Guess what... That is Fred D. Small world, small Coffee Shop.BUT Super Large Meeting Ground! Don't miss Tom & Beckys as it truly is a threshold to cross.
