We went with two other couples on 10/13/17. I had the pork chop which was very good. The veggie of the day was broccoli rob - which I hate so I ordered the mixed veggies. They ended up being broccoli rob, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. The worst I have ever had. I said that I did not like broccoli rob and she said they would substitute it. Are you kidding me? You can't substitute it with the same thing. We ordered pumpkin pie cheesecake for dessert. It was grainy, meally, and overall yuck.

I had visited this Venture in the Past two years as well as their location in Middletown on several occasions and unfortunately never have find the time to write a review.
Well today is the day….
The place is located in Southington on a small Plaza right on the CT Route 10. There is a Universal Parking on site, small outdoor Patio, Bar with Counter seating and a separate Dining Room. Modern décor and appropriate music and lighting create a nice atmosphere. Service is very good, courteous and fast.
The Food and it presentation is fabulous and Tapas are awesome.
As I had visit the Venture before a few times along a two years window, I’m entitled to say they are very reliable. The place to go when you’re looking for a Spanish Restaurant in town.

We're the new tavern here, but we bring with us all the character of our past experiences in the food and music industry. We wanted to create a place where musicians, food and drink enthusiasts and the community could all come together. A bar is only as lively as it's patrons, and we think we've perfected the perfect place to meet new people, bond with old ones, and just in general have a great time.
Looking for something different near our home, we were so pleased we ventured one town over for a very enjoyable early Saturday dinner. Turns out this small venue was nearly full at 5 pm, because regulars come early for dinner, then stay for dinner. My fish & chips was a great piece of cod w/hand cut fries, and though the menu was not huge, there was plenty to choose from. They have music nightly, a nice drink menu, and friendly service.

Being an ice cream lover, I can honestly say that Pat's is my favorite place to stop for an ice cream treat! The owner is super friendly and there is always a huge selection of creamy hard ice cream flavors. My favorite is hard coconut ice cream with almonds and chocolate chips. It is deliciously reminiscent of a Mounds or Almond Joy candy bar, but it's cold and creamy and oh, so refreshing! The ambiance is great inside and out, and they offer quite a few colorful benches outside to sit at while you savor your summer ice cream treat.

A 15yr family owned and operated casually sophisticated restaurant located in the heart of downtown Southington. We pride ourselves on consistently excellent food made fresh daily, generous portions and excellent professional service at very affordable prices.
Anthony Jack's is one of the few restaurants open for lunch on Monday in downtown Southington. It is a bit noisy, but we were able to hear each other. Food was very good, with a nice lunch special menu. Very nice attentive staff. Good coffee....MoreThank you! :)

In town visiting family and thought we'd try the "new" restaurant. We had last visited prior to the rebuild. What a surprise. The vibe is casual elegance with outdoor patio dining. The menu was a bit more refined also. Wanting to start with some oysters on the half shell, I asked the waitress what they had and what the salinity number was. She said she didn't know the salinity but the "shucker" would be happy to come out and talk with us. He did and offered the information along with his suggestion. They were fresh and briny. For our entries my wife ordered a Specialty salad topped with baked Cod with a creamy tomato dressing. She seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the Lightly Spiced Grilled Swordfish Steak Nape cabbage, mango cilantro slaw, Spanish rice, lime mango burre blanc. The slaw was replaced with a mango chutney. The dish was savory and sweet with a nice touch of heat. The swordfish was cooked perfectly! A homemade berry tart with strawberry sorbet was a nice finish to the meal. The waitress was attentive and informative but unobtrusive. Another member of management (I assume) visited our table to see if everything was fine. Don't be fooled by the unassuming building as you drive by; stop in for a nice meal!

These could replace donuts as a guilty weekend morning pleasure. The muffins have distinct and strong flavors - the zucchini walnut was my favorite. My mom also loved the strawberry rhubarb.
Service was friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonable too - 12 muffins were about $20. Drop by and check them out!

We made sat night reservations on Friday for 6:30 for party of 4. It was 7:15pm and we had to keep asking when our table would be ready. Finally we got seated but in the bar where it was so loud and people all around us. Would think that these tables would be kept for walk ins. We were expecting a much more enjoyable evening. Food was good ( Tuscana salad was excellent) but when you can’t even have a conversation - why bother.

It;s all italian and very good italian at that. the sauce is a light tomatoe sauce, excellent.
we have only had their meals, but they do a good Pizza business, one of these days we will try the pizza, but the Veal parm keeps on calling me. wife like the shrimp dishes
Place is small and they seem to have a lot of large parties, so the place can get loud at times.
It is a typical Old style Italian restaurant. Portions are very generous and priced right.
Service very friendly and acomidating.
