Our philosophy is H-S-P ": Home - Setting - Plate, that we want to share in our restaurant in the South of France in the Var departement. The restaurant team "La Tour du Plan" is pleased to welcome you in the charming Provencal village of Plan de la Tour in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Check out our carte and our menus, for lunch and dinner, with dishes with Mediterranean accents highlighting our preference for dishes with flavors of Provence.
A really lovely evening set in beautiful surroundings with exceptional service and quality of food and drinks. We spent a lovely and relaxing night here, the restaurant catered well for my fussy son and we all had a really great evening.

We loved all our dishes. The fragrant prawn curry, perfectly cooked fillet steak, tasty lasagne and delicate goats cheese parcels. My only complaint was that my creme caramel was too big to finish. The caramelised apple dessert was fine too. Add to that the wonderful quirky artistic decor, delightful host, and the limoncello lounge on the roof and you have an excellent night out.

Home made food typic from Provence beautiful friendly and we speak english spanish portuguese
After two nights in Sainte-Maxime, we decided to explore Plan-de-la-Tour. In the afternoon I visited the village on bike, and then in the evening I brought my family for dinner. In this small village, there is a wide range of restaurants to choose from. Walking around, it almost felt like exploring somone's garden... We stopped at Le Vieux Moulin (The old windmill). From our table on the outside, we could watch the street passing by, and also have a trip indoors to watch the beautiful decorations.
It was a hot evening, an d our friendly waitress recommended (in very good English!) food to each and everyone of us. Entrecote for my wife and one to share for the kids. For me, she recommended the "Agneau" - lamb, that had been cooked in a ratatouille for 7-8 hours.
The food was really good, and I must admit that the lamb was really fantastic. I would gladly come back here the next time we are in this area.
Total bill including soft drinks was 88,50 Euros.

After an impromptu dinner here last night, we were blown away by the whole experience. Everything was perfectly cooked and truly delicious. We had the lobster tagliatelle and fish of the day. The service here is second to none and the extra little touches didn't go unnoticed. The setting takes this place to another level. The prices are very reasonable considering what you are getting here!

This store is a small gem in town. A few tables are available although food is mostly take away. We were lucky to get a small table and enjoyed a delicious pizza event with some great local wine. Owner & staff are very friendly and accomodating. This is probably the cleanest pizza place we've seen before, decor is also a delight. If you enjoy stone oven made pizza this is a must visit, you can sense the dedication with which the food is made here. Thank you, we will be back!

We had a really enjoyable evening with food that was well presented and thought out!
The meals were well balanced in taste and gave way to real experiences on the taste buds. The crushed avocado and crab stater was a real hit for me, as was the grilled fig and goats cheese for my wife.
The Filet mignon of pork with pineapple and crushed potatoes was truly scrumptious, as for the pollock with wasabi mousse, with brown rice hit all the right notes with taste texture and healthy eating.
Wine choices were excellent and coffee was superb, the staff were attentive and very knowledgable of the menu, area and look after you as if you are friends.
A delightful evening had by all!
Try it for yourself and hope you are equally as impressed.

Well known in the area and much frequented by locals. Didier and the other kitchen staff can really cook. Great properly-hung aged beef. truffled mashed potatoes to die for, unbelievably naughty Deserts. Go and enjoy!!

I have rated this restaurant as average for cuisine because it depends upon what you order. Some dishes are very good and others average. In the warmer months the courtyard setting is usually full with visitors and locals having wine/cocktails or enjoying a meal. Primarily eating seafood, I have no experience on their meat or poultry dishes, but I have heard from others they enjoy those dishes also. Definitely worth a visit and enjoy the village square.

Decided to come here based on all the great reviews and the fact that we are based in le plan de la tour and therefore it's relatively close to us. The menu is small but a variety of choice and all freshly cooked. Very good value prices and the wines are also decent and affordable. I had tartare of saumon which was delicious and came with a fragrant rice and salad, the others in my party had various offerings such as entrecote (delicious) and a wok style dish. The cafe gourmand was well priced and contained 4 desserts each of a good size. The chef/owner Marine came around at the end to see if everything had been ok which was a nice touch. My only comment would be that it lacks a little ambiance. Half of it is covered in wines (and a little dark) and the other half is a little like a cafeteria, but nevertheless definitely worth trying out.
