We had dinner Friday night. We sat at a booth. We read the specials on the white board. The waitress doesn't tell you what they are. I had delicious broiled scallops with broccoli and mashed potatoes. It was a special. Others had the Monte Cristo and a full order of the macaroni and cheese (you can order a half order). They have beer and wine as well.

If you want great doughnuts, go to Heavenly Donuts in Haverhill. They make them fresh there and are better than any national chain. I go for the doughnuts and not the coffee so my review is strictly on doughnuts. The best is the managers special which is usually a cream filled glazed. Truly decadent.

I have dined here maybe 8-10 times in the past 5 yrs and I must say, service, food and ambiance has always been consistently good. There are a bunch of new restaurants around and, honestly, as much as I would like to try them they all get such spotty reviews. I think I will just stick with the tried and true places like this one.
And, Monday night $5 burgers with home made chips? I will definitely be back more often!
My party of 4 had a $5 burger, a very large individual pizza, large fresh salad and a quesadilla along with 2 beers and 2 sodas and the bill was $60 before tip. Excellent value.
Check it out!

Stillwell's is our favorite ice cream shop in the area. They provide friendly service and have tons of great flavors with multiple size choices at great prices!! I love that they offer Kiddie and even Baby sizes!

I was having trouble deciding what i wanted from the menu and asked the waitress for some substations and additions and she said I can have it any way I want, and that summed it up. I had a really great breakfast, exactly how I wanted it, served promptly and it was delicious too. The coffee was really good too. Wonderful service, thank you! I will most certainly be back!

Sushi is always excellent, however service has been consistently slow. I never go when I'm starving and always have a great time. The staff are incredibly friendly and always make it a worthwhile trip. I always leave "more happy" than when I arrive :)

My friend and I dropped in for an lunch. There was a very good crowd, but we got settled right away. We order our usual baked fish and naturally it was delicious. I consider this to be the best all around restaurant in Haverhill. There was a nice article this month in the Haverhill magazine about Butch's.

I've been to Eggie's countless times, and my only issue is with the eggs themselves. I don't find the scrambled eggs to be breakfast restaurant quality, but the service is always extraordinary and I have had better luck with lunch than breakfast. It's a great local place and, unlike Casey's, they accept credit cards.

This place is great. Don't be fooled- we thought it looked a bit shady and deserted from the outside, but it was bustling inside. The drinks were wonderful-- great tasting, strong, and tropical in nature. The food was also top notch for Chinese food (and I don't even like Chinese food). Price was also good.

This deli is take-out only, located in a residential neighborhood. Traditional deli meu with some fish options and fried food also. HUGE sandwiches. The small is equivalent to a Subway foot-long, the large is almost the size of a baseball bat!
The staff is excellent; friendly, courteous and fast!
Best sandwich I've had in ages! Fresh ingredients with both quality and quantity!
Worth the 3 mile or so drive from the highway!
