I have recently returned from my trip to Mauritius. While there I visited the Irish numerous times and could not fault the food on any occasion. The highlight for me was the fish and chips. perfectly fried tasty fillet of fish, served with crispy chips and homemade tar tar sauce. The pasta was also a very generous portion and tasty aswell. All pasta's are freshly made. I highly recommend visiting this establishment if you are in the area

Born in South Africa and taken to the world, Nando's specialises in Portuguese-style, flamed-grilled chicken dishes with various PERi-PERI marinades Experience a truly South African dining experience at Nando's in Bagatelle The Nando's experience is l
Visited the restaurant for an early dinner on 10 Dec 2018 with my fiance. Her food was up to the level we usually expect from Nando's. But my quarter chicken unfortunately resembled one which had been battered into submission! There was one waiter during our time there who made the experience nauseating. Mauritius is a hot country, especially in December but the minimum we expect is not having to smell heavy sweat from a distance from someone serving food in a restaurant! The worst was that no-one from the Nando's team seemed to notice (or care?).So, overall OK service with much better expected.

The naan, the butter chicken and the lamb was nice. Maybe some more variety could be better - the menu literally consists of lamb, chicken, prawns, vegetables in 3 choices of sauce.Price range: 10usd per curry/itemThe decor and set up of the place was a let down. A hindu prayer music was played throughout our dinner - we didnt ask for it to be changed since we could come across as being impolite. The washroom is not so clean and feels like a poorly transformed house into a restaurant. The desert was pricy and not really a "unique" creation as put it by the owner - it was more of a mishmash of different ingredients poorly blended together.

We visited this restaurant while on vacation in Mauritius. As we have a restaurant with the same name in Belgium we read the reviews and found that it was worth to make a trip from the east-coast to Floreal to this wonderful restaurant. This restaurant is located in a more upscale region and when you enter the premisses you feel the grandeur of this place. We were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was of pure class and with a touch of explicite elegance. We went for a glass of champagne and some very, very delicious dishes.... served with style and with a top notch service. The lady of the house 'Madame Dalais' came to great the customers and we were greated and treated as celebreties. Thank you to the whole team to make our evening so special and worthwhile to make the trip from Poste Lafayette to Floreal. Peter & Kristel from Belgium

Welcome to The Market Restaurant & Deli; where everything is generous and light, sweet and salty, melting and crisp, dense and airy. Nestled on the pavement of the S'Mall & Chic concept store in Floreal - Curepipe, The Market Restaurant & Deli is unveiled
The decoration / setup was really nice. The starters was excellent and the staff very nice with us. Their wine menu was exhaustive and everyone could find something for his taste. A little expensive for what it is (ex : the lamb at Rs1,500 / plate is a little too much). Overall you should try this restaurant.

The new restaurant is great. Situated near Corson tea plantation, you forget that you are in Curepipe. Service is great, the staff is very attentive and pleasant. As for the menu, you have a great choice of european dishes and local creole meals. The mushroom risotto I had was delicious, it lacked a bit of salt to my liking but I added some and finished the entire plate. The drinks are also reasonably priced. Good selection of wine.I will try to come back for lunch instead as the dining experience is better around lunchtime because you have an amazing view over the tea field.
