Wood fired pizza. You will taste nothing like it anywhere else. Simple relaxed location across from water. Eat in or take away. We deliver within 10 minutes in any direction.
This place could be so good if the owner did two things. One talk less to the customers and spend more time cooking the pizza as opposed to a young junior that cooked the night we went. As we know the better the food the more experience and love attached. Also ditch the current mozzarella cheese because cooked it tastes like cheap cheddar. Maybe it is and if it is it's terrible. The owner is a lovely man just needs to churn out a loved pizza.I definitely have nights in winter where I get the kids to practice what they have been taught and I try to stay out of their way (Thats the way I learnt) Its pretty hard to get the way I want it wrong. I don't cook them much better, the woodfired oven does all the work, I can just cook more at once.We do have a percentage of cheddar into the mix of mozzarella and other cheeses. If ever there is an ingredient that polarises pizza eaters, its the cheese, too much to little, too salty, not salty enough, too much cheddar, not enough. But it is definitely not a cheap cheddar, but cheddar is considered to taste cheap, its the one cheese taste we all know.Sorry your experience was not 5 star, maybe next time

Iâve been coming here for many years and apparently there has been a recent change of ownership.I hope it is just teething problems but this is not the same restaurant. The specials were âoddâ in design. The service was attentive but not well trained. The food delivery timing was all over the place. The chips here used to be fantastic. Theyâve switched to polenta chips only and all kids at the table said they were gross. Again, an odd decision. Thankfully the BYO is still intact as the beer and wine choice were limited and âno nameâ. In summary my hope is that the new management can right this ship. If not, one of the most reliable restaurant in Newport is gone.

This was a family run Greek restaurant that had opened fairly recently. They were very friendly, food and service was very good and it is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Iâm came here based on trip advisor feedbackOrdered a pizza and two pasta dishes. Basic table service lacking such as clearing extra settings not being used at table as well as not clearing any entree plates or mains until we leftKnife was so old I couldnât cut through the pizza base which was delivered with random slice sizes from 2 inch crust to one price taking up a quarter of the pizza. The 2 pasta dishes were very average for an Italian restaurant. I just canât see how anyone can rave about the food. Location and atmosphere is great. Staff are friendly. Hi, Im Sorry to hear that I didnât realised you werenât happy that night as no ones has reported it to us after the bill has been paid or I would definitely do something for you :( I wish you can give it another go so we can try to make you happy next time Grazie e ciao

We went to cranzgots after all the good reviews. Had the vego with added pepperoni. It was almost inedible. The sauce on the base is a really strong sweet BBQ tasting combination that ruined a good looking pizza. We couldn't eat it. We never usually leave any bad review for anyone, but this demanded an exception.

You could easily walk past this little gem. Unassuming, almost clinical with a standard kitchen layout, very clean, a little indoor seating, and little stock standard italian trinkets and a local favorite. After trying the pizza and tiramisu i could see why. Recommend the Michaelangelo - it is really delicious. As well as their tiramisu - this is what people want when they order tiramisu soaked, liquer laced, fresh mascarpone - perfecto!

Alfonso's is a friendly, casual neighbourhood cafe open for breakfast and lunch. Wood fired pizzas are available on Friday nights accompanied by live music.
It was by thankful happening, that we came upon this boisterous and happy place in the thick of Avalon's wooded suburbia. A tightly run family cafe that celebrates its Latin roots in all things colourful, tasty and vibrant, this is a must stop if you're exploring the northern beaches of Sydney. If you're lucky like us, you'd be seduced by the charm of Alfonoso himself on the guitar with a voice that adds verve to your coffee and meal.Thank you very much for your kind words Stefan. I am glad that I was there to serenade you!! Please come again.
