We checked out Sunset Diner for a quick weekday lunch. The venue is tastefully decorated with a cool, Miami style feel and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in their extensive beer garden style area. Menu reads well and everything sounds delicious. We went for the plain old âburgerâ and a chicken burger with a side of fries to share. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and not at all greasy.Great to see a selection of sauces available for guests to help themselves to.Sunset had a nice selection of drinks including some great tap beers and the staff were super friendly.Places like this deserve to win, so hoping they can attract enough fans to keep it alive - well done guys, we will be back!

Attended the book launch for Marcel Thompson hare and it was such a great vibe. Great cocktails, happy, friendly and fun staff (thank you Jane!) It was catered so I canât comment on their menu but the food offered was very good. A little lite on the gluten free options but that was for my friend not me so I was good! Lol The place looks good and feels great.

A group of 20 people shared a delicious lunch yesterday at The Boathouse overlooking Patoonga beach. A beautiful location, a busy and bustling restaurant, no bookings available so it was first in first seated! A good range of drinks, plus menu choice, including beer battered flathead, beef burger, many fish and seafood dishes. Friendly helpful staff, and hotel accommodation also available. We were able to park in sidestreet, just about an hour from Sydney north. Will definitely come again.
