2 adults and 3 children for Friday lunch.Pizzas were generously topped, but not unpleasantly overloaded. Good thin base, although it could have been a little crisper. By contrast, the kids' gelato was a disappointing experience. Only 4 flavours were on offer. There was only enough chocolate gelato for 2 serves. A request for a refill of the chocolate was met with a bald, firm statement that an order had not come. Customer service lacking there. One child gamely offered to have lemon gelato. What a sad experience that was. There was no discernible lemon flavour, just a strange vinegar-like taste accompanied by a harsh, lingering chemical overtone. Lemon gelato is a personal favourite and I could not tolerate more than a tiny taste. The children were good sports and shared the 2 chocolate ice creams available. The small spend on the lemon was a complete waste. Such a shame that the negative aspects of desert and service over shadowed the positive enjoyment of the pizza.Surprisingly, Nonnas restaurant was not busy on a Friday lunchtime in January. There were only about a dozen people in the area. It was a pity that our fun lunch ended on a sour note.

Morgan's is the sort of place you visit when you want really nice foodstuffs you just can't find elsewhere. They're pricey but excellent in both range and service.

Quattro Stagioni deli in Mona Vale. Antipasto plate of prosciutto, ham, provolone cheese, meat balls, gherkins, olives - an Italian Plough Mans lunch. Delicious and amazing value and top it off with an espresso and ricotta canolo! Sounds like an ad I know but it's a hidden gem. Great owners.

Specialist pizza place in Narrabeen.Parking next door.Bus stop out front.Sourdough a specialty here. We were out back near the bar. This area obviously gets busy and is very loud.Our Batista pizza was a little soggy and the beers overpriced. The overall experience will probably be our last.

Always consistently fabulous pizza, light delicious Italian wood fired bases with fresh toppings. Not too much cheese which is perfect exactly as pizza should be, simple and delicious. Highly recommend for takeaway.

Have visited 3 times now.Pasta and Pizza are very good (but not earth shattering).Service very good and friendly Value very good -including very reasonable liquor prices A nice big open seating area where you are not squashed in but can get a little noisy (maybe they can add some acoustic treatments.)Décor good.Will certainly be back with the family and friends to support a local business.

If you are spending some time away at Palm Beach/Whale Beach side, this place is well worth a short drive for a great dinner. It is not your usual Italian fare but something more sophisticated yet simple and done well. The kingfish crudo and carpaccio was a great start, followed by squid ink tagliolini with julienne calamari and peas and the house beef pie. All were just delicious. The last test was to order a tiramisu and it did not disappoint. It was light and fluffy with the right amount of alcohol. This place has daily specials which sounds great, pitty I don't live in NSW to go there more.Grazie mille! So happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us! Of late we have been having pizza at the newport but we were introduced to Torro Nero & we love it. Great pizzas with a huge menu ! indoors so you can keep warm in winter & the service is fantastic. Staff cant help you enough.

We were a group getting together on a Saturday evening.The food is quite good, hot at service and tasty.The eating area expanded during our stay as more customers arrived.This is one of many pizza/Italian Food eateries on the Northern beaches, this one must be in the better group.The group, about 12 persons seemed all to enjoy the meals they ordered - that is a good recommendation!Caruso's is well worth a visit!

Cinque Cucina Caffe is a busy cafe situated near Mona Vale Beach.There is a constant buzz of customers mainly locals which is a good sign.The Coffee had a a robust flavour and the the milk had good texture.The muffins were also delicious.
